For £55 I'd expect to play.

If you're a season ticket holder. Otherwise it's £60.

I could buy MW3 for that!

Not a bad start in the Championship for AFCB. A 2-1 home win over Charlton. We're also in the Capital One Cup 2nd round after beating League 2 Portsmouth.

Definitely feels odd being two divisions above them.

Conversely, Middlesbrough have lost 2 home games so far, including a defeat to Accrington Stanley.

Accrington Stanley? Who are they?

Exactly!

Football doesn't exist this year. The capital one cup certainly doesn't.

We have a Boro fan at work. The day after that loss was dark indeed.

Nice looking draw for Celtic in the CL.

Can see Utd, city, arsenal and chelsea all getting out of their groups this year.

Arsenal are in a pretty tough group. Dortmund are a great team, Napoli have spent a fair bit and have Rafa who has a knack of doing fairly well in Europe, and Marsielle although the weakest to me are still a very good team.

It's pretty tough, but arsenal have the experience in europe and I reckon they'll beat marsielle at home and away, probably scrape away draws with dortmund and napoli and then possibly get a win against one of those 2 at home.

Napoli have spent, but they only have that money because they no longer have Cavani or Lavezzi.

Arsenal are an odd one. They could come a decent second. But they could lose to Marseille at the Emirates. Arsenal can win or lose to any of those teams, apart from Dortmund, who can only humiliate them.

I wouldn't be so quick to forget how Arsenal nearly snuck past the superior Bayerm side.

I didn't forget that. Bayern steamrolled them in the first leg, and then got stupidly lazy in the second. Don't see Dortmund ever being that complacent.

That's a very english interpretation of what happened, i would say...

anyway, will be an interesting group, as will be ours.. i might go to milan for the match, and have a passepartout for the home games (of which i sold the milan game again)....

ajax had a brilliant deal, only 75 euros for all three together if you bought it blind, without knowing the opponents or the dates (and you were season tiocket holder)

How is it an English interpretation to say that Arsenal nearly managed to sneak past them? It was a 3-3 draw overall, with Arsenal winning 2-0 away from home and only going out on away goals. Had they got one more, they would have been through. Yes, it might have been a bit lucky, but that's football.

Arsenal aren't as bad as people say they are. I think they will at the very least give Dortmund a good game, and think they have a chance to get out of their group.

Clearly Arsenal are great. That way, it takes an amazing team to beat them 3-1 at the Emirates ;)

We for me they didn't really feel close, even in the game they won, if bayern stillhad them on a string..

but anyway, great signing özil. always exciting to see him play..

That's what two penalties in the first 15 minutes will do.

Yes, and he was playing amazingly in the two seasons before Özil came along. Three Premier League goals for him in those two seasons in total.
