Journey is ace.

But I've played through it twice already.

Is level 60 a lot? How long does it (roughly) take to get there?

Taken me a good 20+ to get to 50. And it seems 50-60 take a hell of a lot longer, I'm up to 52 I think. So probably got another good 10 hours or so left.

Transformers: Devastation is perfect, because I was never going to buy it (I suck at / dislike brawlers) but I did want to marvel at the graphics.

What is the difference between the old and new PS4

with the PS4 being £150 for the 500GB is that a good deal?

The new slim is HDR capable but otherwise the same performance so get the old one.
The PS4 pro due in a couple of months is noticeably more powerful.

Its a very good deal - its really only superficial differences between the old and slim ones right now (although there will be differences with the Pro when it is launched).

Main changes - Smaller , slimmer , less energy drain , should run quieter and cooler

http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/138590- ... ed-to-know

From the videos I watched at launch the only other differences were a missing audio port on the back and a physical power button (rather than the current touch thingy)

FYI if you want the drive can be swapped out to a bigger capacity one quite easily so dont worry that much about the bigger drive (although £20 more for the 1TB would probably encourage me to go for that one)

Install sizes vary wildly with the biggest stuff around 90gb (I think Doom or one of the COD's plus map packs is my biggest game) - so you'd only have 4 or 5 of those on a 500gb disk

Already sold out, I think, if it's the Argos deal.

All PS4s have been made HDR capable through a firmware update, as I understand it.

Although Argos seem to not have any in stock they are showing as order for home delivery still and seem to be the best deals which are either :

£150 for a 500GB with Fifa17 and Uncharted4
£179 for a 1TB with Fifa and Lego Star wars and a bluray of The Force Awakens

Old Man afterthought just got a slimline ps4 ("there were not any for £150 so i thought it was only another week's pension") and Fifa 17. Anyway, is it firmware version 4 that is the latest?

I'm going to get less PS4 time once my boy knows there's A FREE TRANSFORMERS FIGHTING GAME on there.

The game ticks loads of boxes in my book, but for some reason I couldn't get into it.

I think I need to revisit it.

Transformers Devastations seems ok, my little Lad is loving it so far.

I had a go of RE HD last night and had to ditch it. The controls are fucking horrendous. Forgivable at the time (played the original PS and the HD version on GC) but can't be arsed playing through it again.

I've been enjoying Ultratron on my Vita (can't remember which month it was PS+ game, maybe last month). Can imagine it's pretty spiffy on PS4 too.

Basically an amped up Robotron. Not quite as zippy as Geometry Wars, but it has a nice line in ship upgrades to keep things interesting.

The new controls are much better. Don't tell me you played it in tank mode?

I am pricing up a PS4 for Christmas.

I take the slim is just the new version?
Can i swap the HDD out, buy a 500GB and put a larger drive in? Is it easy?
Anything thing else I need PS4 related?
