Meatloaf is at the O2 tomorrow night as part of his 'farewell tour'. Grim... and I are going, and now we have a spare ticket. Anyone want it? £56.

Isn't it the case that he hasn't been able to sing properly for years?

Watching his performance here, (bad karaoke, basically), I'd consider going if you paid me £56.

I suspect Craster will be seeing a white snake before the night's out.

Leave them alone! I think it's lovely that two grown men can express themselves in public like this.

Which one is Poppa Bear though?

So not only has this thread failed to gain a sale, it's also generated an irritating amount of POTW noms that I now have to write up on Friday. I hate you all.

I can't remember why I decided not to go to this.

Ah yes, it's all coming back to me now.

Meatloaf sucks.

You know who apparently does a good live show? Status Quo.

An indie loving mate who goes to lots of concerts ended up at a Quo concert as part of his work. He's seen hundreds of bands play live and he reckons Status Quo were one of the best live bands he's ever seen.

They are also, so I'm told, meticulous about the setup. While many bands don't spend much time doing sound checks, the Quo stay until everything is exactly right for them.

If you go there by taxi, ensure that the driver is taking proper attention of what is going on in his mirrors, but not too much attention.

Couldn't have said it better.

I tried to call you about the ticket Cras, but you didn't pick up.

Maybe you have a dead ringer.

This has cheered me right up. I'm so glad that my illness (hence the spare ticket) has at least led to mockery... I think they'll be just fine bless them:

OK so maybe the dude can't sing anymore, but who gives a fuck? It's not like you'd have heard him over us singing anyway.

Damn, late to the party. I was hoping I'd have the chance to suggest they take a real dead ringer for Kov.
