I was having a skeet the other night but couldn't see it. Does anyone know how to find out when your ps+ membership runs out / renews.

I would like to renew it before it does it automatically if I can as I'd like to take advantage of the PayPal offer.

Its in a weird place but it is in there - give me a minute ...

Edit - right not the correct place but if you go here

https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwor ... lter=games

And find something you've 'bought' on PS+ then it has an expiry date and thats the day your PS+ expires

Having Spotify on there is brilliant. Just need to find appropriate musics for Bloodborne, GY!BE works ok in the meantime, though.

Thanks, I tried this on my phone and couldn't see it. Will try again later on the computer but it's proper silly that it's not at all obvious.

It will also actually have your PS+ sub in there as a line item with the expiry date against it as I've just noticed.

Not if you used a card rather than did it on the dashboard. This was my problem.

Hmm, going through my transaction history, the last ps+ purchase I made was 22/6/13 for £40.

I'm confused why I've not had to make any since.

ok, I've now found it within the "Services List" within "Account Information" within "Settings" on the console.

It says that I renewed on 26/06/2014, maybe I did, I cant remember, but its not showing on my transaction history (I probably used a code and its not shown as a transaction).

I think I will now renew using Paypal.

Monologue over.

Unlikely because the web browser probably won't have access to the camera.

Author:  Bamba [ Thu Apr 23, 2015 14:25 ]
Post subject:  Re: PS4 confirmed

Yeah, it seems unlikely the browser would get access to the camera, though I suppose it can't hurt to try. Note that as Skype is owned by MS there's zero chance that'll ever appear as a proper app and I can't imagine Apple would ever expose their services on anyone else's hardware either. Google would probably prefer you buy a device running Android so that also seems unlikely; though not impossible.

Fair point on Hangouts (though I did say that was less unlikely) but there's no way MS are going to put Skype on the PS4 when it's in direct competition with the Xbone and with Skype being a major selling point for Kinect. iPhone vs Windowsphone isn't the same level of competition to my mind.

Bit OTT. That ending though? Typical MGS trash.

Ground Zeros is quite good for what it is but needs more indoor bits otherwise the buildings are just flat boxes to break up the lines of sight. I quite enjoy the MGS series for what it is - a convoluted series stuck up its own arsehole and repeatedly being shoved further and further up there. I thought that Zeros was a nice attempt at trying to peel back some of the bullshit but, y'know, Kojima...

What they said. I still enjoyed the couple of hours it took to get through it, though.

Journey: yay!
N++: yay!
Galax-Z: Yay?
Everybody's gone to Rapture: Yay?

The latter is getting some noise but I'm avoiding reading about it just in case it turns out that that's the best way to play it.

N++ will be the tatties though.

I have this sometimes with my Xbox 360, the way to fix it (in my case) is to keep the console on but turn off the television (going to standby is usually enough) wait a moment and then turn the TV back on...magically the sound should be restored.

Video: ZombiU vs. Zombi graphics and gameplay comparison

In my opinion, ZombiU - despite being a launch title for the console - is still one of the best games for the Wii U. It mixes survival horror and permadeath mechanics together perfectly, and to this day remains one of the only games on the system that actually bothers utilising the gamepad for something other than just a secondary map screen.

Now almost three years since ZombiU's launch, Ubisoft has finally decided to release the game on the PS4, PC and Xbox One - minus the 'U' and minus the multiplayer. In terms of how it actually plays, Zombi is very similar to ZombiU; the level layouts for the campaign are identical, and the only real change comes from the lack of the Wii U gamepad's second screen. Digging into your backpack, scanning for items or tearing down barricades now happens on your TV and, rather than it having the effect of losing tension, as some people had feared, I actually think it improves the overall experience no end.

Graphically there have been quite a few changes though, not least the new field of view which allows you to see much more of the game world than before. I've placed the Wii U and PS4 versions side by side in the graphics and gameplay comparison video below, so do give it a watch if you want to see how they stack up. There's also a few insights into the improved lighting, textures and added gore too.

Baffling that they didn't make a companion app for iOS/Android to work like the Gamepad, considering how many companion apps they ave made for games that obviously didn't need it in any way shape or form.
