The 3DO did this too. I always thought it was a great idea.

Poor Sony financial reports today (mainly the phone division everything else is doing well including the games division) and it also included the numbers for PS4's sold up to the 30th of September

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/ps4-unit ... ome+Stream

So that puts it at 13.5 million units

Not all that useful for finding PS4 players on there though, considering it's cross-gen now.

I agree - although if your looking for scoreboard challenges a lot of them are cross gen as well (stuff like Pix or Spelunky does not care which system you play it on)

Is it worth a thread or an addition to that post with PS4 players ?

Or just a list of PS4 players (these are the ones i know of)

American Nervoso -> SilentElk
Dr Zoidberg -> Alex_Zoidberg
Mr Dave -> MrDaveXXVIII
Pundabaya -> pundy79
Saturnalian -> ianaris
zaphod79 -> Zaphod_79
Zio -> Zio360

Annoyingly they seem to have removed the ability to add friends from the iOS app, so the only way to do it is via a console again.
Not quite sure I see the logic there.....

Apologies - i was going from memory and the people i knew I'd had some type of interaction with on there - I'm sure there are other PS4 users in the bigger list.

I just tried it and there is an add button but it then complains that i cant do that on my account because its a sub one - might be worth checking your running the latest version , go into friends and hit the little 'face with a plus' next to it to see what you get.

There's an add button, but it only lets you send an email invitation to someone which is pointless if you are just wanting to add people by usernames from a forum list.

No probs, although I did beat one of your Pix the Cat scores for about five minutes at some point.

At the moment Pix is probably my game of the year , I've edged my score up a few times in the last week but I really am just scraping a few hundred points here and there I need to shave about 1 second off from somewhere to headbutt the next skull and get over 1 million :-)

I'm not sure I get the scoring system. Sometimes I have a game that seems to be really good, but at the end it's only half my previous best. Also, the controller doesn't seem up to it when it gets crazily fast (same applies to the user of the controller in my case).

All down to those sharp turns and the 'big point' screen (9) making sure you are going the most efficient route which is not the easiest one.

The majority of the points are just getting to fever mode the quickest (so combo each screen and no doubling back on yourself) and then when you get onto screen 14(?) ignoring the eggs and headbutting the skulls (when i get there the '5 ... 4 ...' countdown is already running)

Not mine but a good 1 million plus run

Screen 9 is the key - and I have a slightly different route on screen 11 (to the top and then down when dropping the chicks off)

That's amazing, some good tips in there.

So all I have to do now is age backwards by about ten years, get a new pair of glasses and develop a cocaine habit - Bob's your uncle!

Ah, that's a clever way of doing 9 - it definitely saves a few seconds over my normal route. I'm with them turn for turn till then and also on 10.
11 looks a little more efficient route than my standard and 12 I know I waste plenty. The eggs not being in either a neat box or on a single obvious path just distracts me too much.
I've not seen 14 before. Is it possible to make it onto 15?

I'm sure he could have made it in - the 'door' was open but he instead went for the points for smashing the other skulls

Why has only Jonarob seemed to have played Resogun? It's ace, but no one is showing on the leaderboards. Have they been reset?

I think they have y'know. I might be wrong but there was a November update (I think) that introduced customisable ships and things and the scores appear to have gone with that update.

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is £13 on the PSN store at the moment. Looks like it could be good for a laugh.

The season pass is part of the current PSN sale so its about £2 for all the DLC they will make - I've grabbed it so will be playing it again and will be back on the leaderboards

Ground Zero's is also down to £7.49

List of current PS4 deals : http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2014/11/ ... 2_35451917

I'd suggest if you have not already picked these up

Infamous Second Son for £22.49
Resogun for £4.80 (and the DLC pack for £2.60)
Rogue legacy for £3.99 (cross play so you also get it on Vita)

And if you have a Vita grab Killzone for £6.99

Has anyone here played Valiant Hearts: The Great War - its one that looked interesting and its down to £5.99

Already played Ground Zeroes to death on the PS3
Played the first Infamous and it left me cold - the new one looks like more of the same.
Already have Resogun because PS+
Already have Killzone

Haven't played Valiant Hearts but it's got good reviews and I'm a sucker for a graphic adventure. Rogue Legacy was also not on my radar - interesting.

There a demo of Valiant Hearts if you want an idea of what its like. It's really, really pretty and I'd definitely be picking it up if I had a PS4 right now.

No, I just lied in the WongaWatch thread. It's actually £30.

I had not played an Infamous before this one - I enjoyed it and I think it was the first PS4 game I had where it really felt like something 'next gen' - its a very pretty game but its a 'play it through once' (maybe twice) and thats it ~20 seems about right for it.

Seeing as the shitty TV I've got at the moment only outputs at 720p, graphics aren't really a factor for my purchasing choices at the minute.

Having played the previous two a lot but never bothering to complete the second one I didn't find that at all, I thought it was a lot better than either. I even completed it all again on the higher difficulty. The standalone DLC is coming to PS Plus in January anyway so anyone unsure might as well wait until then.

You can probably still see most of the graphics at 720p. At least half of them.

And on the PC and Xbox 360 which I also have, but I'm trying to close the last generation down so I'm not buying anything else on the prev gen consoles and moving everything I can onto my PS4 list. As of finishing Asura's Wrath I've now 'completed' the Xbox 360 and I've only got the last God of War game to do on the PS3 before I call that good as well.

Unfortunately by using the phrases 'the graphics' and 'of them', the word graphics is being used in a comedy discrete rather than contiguous sense. Ergo fewer is correct. For that comedy use of 'the graphics' only.

Especially as the underlying technically correct term under that is pixels. So ''fewer pixels' would be correct too.
