Do want. If only because it's a strong SP game based on original IP without any tacked on MP. More of this sort of thing.

Sadly, it has preorder bullshit: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012- ... s-revealed

Revenge-driven stealth-heavy assassin-'em-up. Influenced by Thief, Deus Ex, and Hitman (and sharing some key designers with those titles). Set in a sort of steampunk 19th century city with magic that has some visual similarity to City 17 from Half-Life 2.

MVC review roundup

CVG has even gone as far as saying "Dishonored is one of the greatest games of this generation."

I've been following this game for a while. Anything from the designers of Thief and Deus Ex has to be alright in my book.

Price lower you say?

How does £22.79/£24.79 sound?

That would involve leaving the house.

I'm afraid you need to consult with AgoraphobicGamer to solve that problem.

SimplyGames have jacked up their price to 35 now. Possibly as a result of the postive reviews, yer think?

This sounds interesting.. but I don't normally agree with stealth games.

I'll add it to the list of games that drop in price. Does anyone know if there is a demo out on the Xbox?

I'm such a goon. I get 15% off from Gamersgate, making the PC version of Dishonored £25.46. So why did I preorder XCOM last week from Steam, and almost do the same with this?! (Dimrill's mention of greenmangaming jogged my memory).

There isn't. Not to say that there won't be one at some point, but there certainly wasn't one as of last night.

Weird how one review (the eurogayer one, probably) says the AI is crap and the game doesn't judge your morals, then FEDGE go on about how the AI is "robust" and the game judges your morals.

I may need to ask the Bethesda guy I know whether I want it for PS3 or 360.

Not having read reviews yet, I gather that it does judge you based on your actions, and there are consequences, but it's not an exposed system, the game never tells you it is judging you or what the consequences will be.
