For all of its failings, the Wii U has consistently hosted the best games this generation has had to offer so far. Its appeal comes down in part to its outsider status, of course - everyone loves the underdog, especially one hobbled with something as unwieldy as a GamePad around its neck and with an adorable little limp - but the adoration thrown its way comes down mostly to its incredible software library.

My only concern is this:

Animal Crossing has not yet been announced.

Bring that out and we're all good.

Nope, I bought two new TVs and an iPad in the last six months or so, and can't think of much else I need. There's other shops I can use it in but I'd prefer to get something larger to show for it rather than just use twenty quid at a time here and there, hence considering a Wii U.
