My son was playing his friend a few weeks ago (when there were still issues with the online stuff). They both jumped into a car, and it turned invisible, they were driving around, sitting next to each other in effectivly midair. I suspect the same thing here. Malc |

Well, I've clocked over 100 hours on this now (75 single player; 25 online). Could be the best game I've ever played. Maybe. It's the first online game that's fun even without friends. |

I've completed story mode. Am on about 77% completion. Don't know if there is much else I want to do now really. All seems abit mundane after the big final shoot out. I went for "C" by the way. Only option IMO if you want to continue to play the game fully afterwards. |

In the adverts I've seen for online, you can do missions with your buddy. I've played a tiny bit and it keeps giving me things to do on my own. At what point can my mate and I just wander about and blow shit up, ignoring missions and the stupid man who keeps making me do things? |

You need to do the tutorial mission at the beginning and that's about it, I'm pretty sure. Of course, the more you level up the more interesting things you can do. I had a nice relaxing round of golf the other night. |

Right, I'm about half way through, but none of my characters have amassed more than about $0.5m at any one time. Almost every single heist so far has either been (a) to pay off someone else or (b) if it's a Trevor one, resulting in zero cash income. I've invested in some properties but seeing as the income is per week I don't seem to be seeing much out of it. I did do some stock market investment around the assassination missions (I think I've done all of them), which has netted me a few hundred K. I want to buy tanks and fancy cars and stuff, but I can't see how I can amass several million dollars very easily. Help me Obi Wan Kenobi. |

I bought a car via one of the websites, and it got delivered to my garage. I thought I'd then go and take it the repair shop to soup it up some. After that I decided to save up, so I drove home to put it in Micheal's garage. However, I already had 2 cars in there. So I drove one round to the side of the house (still within the grounds), and then went to put the new car in the garage. But it was gone! I looked in the garage it was delivered to, but not there either! I turned off the xbox and went to bed. The next day, I turned it back on, and as it loaded up, I got a message telling me my car had been delivered to the garage again. I managed to do everything right this time and got it into the garage ok. But if I leave that car somewhere, will I just lose it? It would be nice if the cars you store in the garage in single player are treated like the online ones, where they have a tracker and you can find them on the map. Malc |

My recommendation is to invest in stocks of whatever company Lester tells you he has shares in before each heist. Obviously they will go up in value once you take out the competition. To be honest I haven't found an easy way of amassing lots of money quickly. The other way is to buy all the properties and then wait for the money to roll in, but that will take a while. |

I've been told a good thing to do with investments is to find 2 rivals in the same market. Invest in one. And then attack the properties/stock/vehicles/etc of the other. Their stock will go down, the rival's will go up. Then after a while, sell everything, and invest in the company you have been attacking. Now attack the other company. Malc |

Chinny tip: Leave all of Franklins assassination missions (or at least most of them as you may want some cash earlier in the game) until after the heist. Then follow the investment instructions you can find online that tell you what to invest in. 2nd tip: Invest BEFORE you trigger the mission as you can spread the love around by ensuring all 3 characters have money invested. Do it right and you'll get 100 million+. |

What chinny says. Also, keep an eye on the BAWSAQ. I invested $150m per character into Pisswasser when it was at $20 or something low like that and cashed out at $290, so now my characters have over a billion each. |

Get Trevor to buy the undersea salvage business as you can then recover nuclear waste at 20 grand a pop using the mini sub. |

Only items that have a coloured strip against them count towards the 100%. For example, you only need half the knife flights and stunt jumps. I didn't even start Michael's Epsilon Program story arc until after I'd 'finished' the game. |

Malc I just meant I wasn't struggling for pennies throughout the campaign - and I never cashed in any shares or nowt. I could probably buy it now I've finished the main game but I'm not bothered. In fact, I'm struggling to boot it up again. I'm weirdly apathetic about it even though I thought it was a decent blast. |

Bought a gaff with 10 car garage. Did a mission with the help of a nice level 85 chap. Got killed twice by the same clown horn honking twat. Got killed by a fucking tank! Wish you could get hold of better weapons and armour earlier on (still only Uzi and shotgun at level  .Want DLC. |

I discovered that by getting in a train with enough ammo you can keep it going pretty much forever, then lose them all again by jumping out in a long tunnel. |

Proper version of this game coming later this year. (XBoner, PS4, PC.) I concur, I've been burned FIFTY MILLION TIMES* buying games (or even pre-ordering them) for top dollar on Steam/Origin over the last couple of years. (A couple of which didn't work properly at launch, or indeed at all.) Only to see the price crash through the floor not long afterwards, and usually as a nicely patched up iteration of the game at that point. NO MORE I SAY FOR DEFINITE THIS TIME. Plus I've got Wii U shenanigans to keep the GTAV hounds at bay, so I concur, a £20 purchase I think. I gave GTAV a fair crack of the whip on 360 but it was clearly the game's ambition far exceeding the ability of its host machine, with that removed from the equation I'm hoping for an awesome gaming experience - and all signs point towards Rockstar pushing the PS4/XBoner (and by extension PC) in the same amazing way that GTAIV pushed the 360 at its release. * Probably about five. Six tops. |

It's like you're making out the game is unplayable on PS3 and Xbox 360, when that objectively is not the case. Not even nearly. I don't doubt GTA V will be a much nicer experience on a well-specced PC (although GTA IV for the PC was an absolute mess at launch) - but the experience was already pretty damn wonderful on both PS3 and Xbox 360. A slightly improved framerate and graphical niceties will just be the cherry on an already quite awesome cake. "Ambition far exceeding the ability of it's host machine". Total bollocks. |
