KovacsC wrote: That is awesome... it is great when all your clothes are too big, expensive but great. To be honest I replaced all my work stuff from Matalan, I spent around £250 and got 6 shirts some trousers, a jacket and some jumpers and shoes Sure most of it will be falling to bits in 6 months but no issue with that. Will be getting 5 or so pairs of cheap chino type trousers from there next week. Quote: Heh, I had that issue when at Centre Parcs with my family a few months back. Mine wouldn't stay up in my bedroom never mind in water! Got a good Black Cyber Friday deal as well. Got 2 pairs that were once £21.99 each for £12 |

I am lucky, my fiends mum is a seamstress and has tailored all my suits. My neck has only shrunk 1/2 an inch, so all my shirts still fit, as I wear 3 peice suits, hides any bagginess. I went on ebay and got a load of t-shirts and jeans, as I might be dropping a jean size again. |

Please to say my swimming shorts fitted and there were no near misses in the pool:) Didn't get the chance to try the slides as I ended up with complete role reversal, I was asking my son if he wanted to try one of the big slides and he was saying "not yet daddy" |

Dude! Looking fit, but weren't you a bit warm? Add at least 10 degrees (some say 20) to the actual temperature for your running (once warmed up) temperature. I don't get into long trousers till it's freezing. |

My weight seems to have stabilised at 14 stone 10, been this way for a few weeks.. No pic this time... so far next year I have entered, 3 x half Marathons (2 Trail, 1 Road), 1 x 10k race and 2 Triathlons. That takes me to June. |

I found a great weight-loss aid at the weekend - a bug, removed 3 kilos from me. And made getting on a flight back from Copenhagen a bit dicey. But I made it. Now if I can just keep some of that weight off while my stomach is nice and small, I'll be very satisfied. |

I've been feeling like a right fat, out of shape, old fuck. So I went out for a run and then weighed myself. The measurements tallied with my observations. |

Put on 8lbs over Christmas, to be expected eating more and doing less! Got rid of 4lbs this week, back on 20,000 steps a day and "normal" food. Pleased that what I'm doing is sustainable, its also the first time in years that I've not needed by special work trousers that are normaly 2 inches larger that my normal waste size I normally have to use these for 6 weeks or so every Jan. This year I just stayed the same! |

Quote: Do you regularly shit yourself at work?! No! It was just that every January I couldn't get into my normal trousers as I had overdone it over the holiday. I thought that 38 inch was the biggest I ever had to use, until this week when I was clearing out all my old clothes I found a pair of 40 inch! |

Week 2 of constant back pain. I suspect it is a combination of picking Shitpants up a lot more over Yuletide, and driving the Ka with the heaters on full. I am treating it with ibuprofen, paracetamol and 5%EtOH. Makes me narky and miserable |

Been out running 5k six times in the last week and a bit. I know it's not long but I seem to be finding it way harder than usual to recover any fitness. Either it's because of the cold or just I'm old and useless and shouldn't bother even trying to do anything. |
