Finished in 35:18 according to the watch, which isn't too bad considering I was on a 36:30 finish time with 800m left to go :D

Slower than last week by about 20 seconds, but I just wanted to make it round in one go.

A dude from another forum i'm on, did a parkrun a while back while he was staying at his folks. He ran the 8k to the parkrun, did the parkrun, then ran 8k home.

Oh, and he won the parkrun too...

You seriously think we're going to have people ready to go for a run that starts at 9am on the Saturday?

A friend of mine ran to the start of the London Marathon from his house (which wasn't too far, I don't think), ran the marathon, ran the marathon again, then ran home.

Each time he came past my flat (we were watching from the balcony, it was on the route) he'd wave and shout at us. He didn't even look tired :S

A friend of mine (Other Dave) decided on the day to run the London marathon, so put on his running gear, hopped the fence and ran it :D

I normally cycle to the parkruns, which is 5 miles. It sounds OK to say you cycled 5 miles, ran 5k and then cycled 5 miles again. As long as I don't thrash my way there it mostly just warms the legs up.

None of it is very far, but it's all to the good. When I do it...

A warm up really does help-my 'proper runner' friend likes half an hour, which feels excessive, but I was dog tired after a long run on Friday, jogged slowly round for 15mins then surprised myself with a half decent parkrun. So some sort of warm up, cycle or walk, helps even if you feel tired on the start line.

Did 10.4k on Friday which is my furthest distance yet (not all running). Most surprised that my legs weren't knackered over the weekend, think maybe I should have pushed myself a little harder.

Better news though - my jeans are starting to feel a little loose so MAYBE all of this running is finally working :DD

Well done :)

Ours was terrible, Mrs T was taken ill halfway round so we had to stop (she's fine now), but I was feeling pretty rough at that point so wasn't too bothered about giving up!

My main issue is I need to strengthen my legs I think, I wasn't breathing hard, just having difficulty picking up my legs and moving forward.

That's a bit better. 3k done in 18:30 :)

No way I could keep that pace up for 5k though, and that was with a couple of walking breaks!

I've apparently lost half a stone by not drinking two nights in the last week and stressing constantly about filling in the WW online tracker.

I KNEW being an untreatable stressmonkey would pay off.

Great time!

Felt crap this morning so decided to run it off, but once I started couldn't stop (which makes a change because if I run on my own I'm lucky to make 2 miles). Ended up doing nearly 11km in about 1hr 15mins - furthest yet. Feel a shit ton better for it too :D

Wallop! Great running. I had to run off a hangover-caused, disgracefully, by just a couple of cans and three pints. It more or less worked.

I've somehow managed to put on half a stone plus since the barbecue. Back on the weights but my stomach is currently looking like I'm a good 5 months pregnant. With twins.

I may actually have to start this whole running business. Bah.

See I found the opposite! Shifted bugger all weight with the running but recently started bodyweight exercises + lifting and now finally seeing fat loss.

Weird how different things work for different people.
