I went to Starbucks today. I rarely ever go to one because I prefer Nero, but I went to the bookstore to avoid my uncle who I heard was in the area and visiting my grandad and my mother, so would probably be calling by, so I decided to go out rather than stay in and pretend not to hear the doorbell because I can't do that, it makes me feel bad. Anyway, I bought a nice iced coffee. It was OK, but I also ordered an almond croissant which turned out to be bigger than my head. I have now got 2/3rds of an almond croissant to enjoy later and didn't have to see uncle Raymond. Hurrah.

I prefer nero because they charge extra for decaffeinated. You have to respect that in a coffee place.

I think Nero actually decaffeinate their coffee themselves, using the same source beans, rather than using an already decaffeinated source. I am not certain, but I seem to have believed that for some while.

Possible, but given the charge is only 10p I really prefer to assume they really are just doing it out of spite.

They siphon it into the beans of those who like Espresso.

Also, some is sold to Mr Pepsi Cola for his drinks.

It goes round the corner to the SMA factory, for adding to baby formula. What people don't know is that SMA also hold the patent for Ritalin. It's very clever, really.

Does anyone else pronounce SMA not by reading out the letters, but by shouting "SMARR!"?
