Cheers guys. Hope you feel the same at the end of it!

I must say I'm really encouraged by the participation - that's the thing these games rely on most.

Thank you Craster for allowing some of the lucky members of this forum to form a lynch mob and send an innocent man to his death.
The town will be a sadder place without Grim... the plumber and I think my toilet is starting to play up.

In fairness if Grim... was a plumber then he probably deserved a bit of a lynching, because as we know all tradesmen are robbling gits who wouldn't know a fair days work if it strangled them round the neck.

I think we need more threads on this game, seeing as how it's so super awesome. As are, by extension, those playing it.

So who's going to read back through 20 pages to find out who had it in for Grim... and who colluded on stuff?

Isn't it day 2 yet? At this rate I'll be forced to crack on with proper work.

I would imagine that Day Two will commence after all of the night peoples have sent Craster their plans for the night.

Yeah, haven't they done that yet? c'mon!

Then again the board reckons Craster was last on at 2am, so the evil man might sleep in all morning. pffft.

I'm thinkking it's only the end bit that may hoild any secrets, here. I'm going to ask Craster to post a final tally of who voted for whom at the end - the list of voters for Grim... should give away something. I, for one, am very suspicious of Myp, for instance, as he led the final push on the vote.

I think that the Mafia's 'night' ends at midday today, in which case the new day should (I imagine) commence then.

I imagine they'd have had a lot of cackling and rubbing their hands together to get out of the way first, so there may be some late entries...

chris, my final breakdown was as follows:

Grim...: 12 votes (Curiosity, Mr Chris, kalmar, Mr Dave, ComicalGnomes, Zardoz, MrRuss, Mimi, Runcle, myoptika, Dimrill, TheVision)
Mr Chris: 2 votes (Joans, TheRevOwen)
myoptika: 1 vote (Squirt)
kalmar: 1 vote (MaliA)
Zardoz: 1 vote (Sheepeh)
Curiosity: 1 vote (Sinister Agent)

Although I think Craster disagreed by 1 vote at the end, but I think I'm right.

I do feel sorry for Grim..., not because he was lynched, but because he really was who he said. If he'd been a mason or something at least I could have gone 'haha! told you you were hiding something', but he wasn't. I'm dissapointed :)

Oi, we're supposed to be in bed. Unless you've a reason to be running around and scheming in the middle of the night.

Clearly, you are all mafia folk.

Cheers, Comical.

Hmm. IIRC Mr Dave, Myp, Runcle and Zardoz voted late and pushed Grim... over the 11 mark.... Do we have some colluding mobsters here?

I'm expecting to die, to be honest. There will be two deaths - one mafia hit and one person killed by the serial killer. I've stuck my head above the parapet a bit too much, so I'm expecting that someone will decide I either have a role which needs eradicating or they're just hoping to stop me from exposing themshut me up and get some peace and quiet.

I knew it. I knew I'd get it from the mafia. I was being too cunning.

You fucking idiot, Chris! Why didn't you lay low? I was going to protect you, but then I thought that you were an obvious suspect, so the killers would leave you alone to sow suspicion.

2-1 on a mafia win, I say.

This is certainly a disasterous start for the town, yikes. Still, the Serial Killer is still loose, and he could take out most of the mob by pure chance, if he/she isn't found.

That would have been no fun at all, would it?

I'd have liked to be the SK. I stuck my neck out too much for the doctor (really, you lot shoudl have known it though. Just look at my posts! Pure logic and observation. An obvious man of science), and I'm the only townie who's helpless. The SK though, can vote for people they don't like and off anyone they suspect, and it doesn't matter who goes. Fun!

Also, sorry chris, I didn't mean it really. I was far too conspicuous myself. I'm just excited! This is fun even when you're dead.

I support the idea of a secondary thread for dead people to keep talking, as long as they don't reveal any secret game info, natch.

It's probably easier for us to PM each other, to be honest. That way we won't influence the game, and can talk more fully.

Please note: there's currently a small mistake in the vote count. I switched to TheVision on page 24 and didn't change after that.

Edit, nevermind, Craster's fixed it now.

Technically I voted for nobody as I unvoted ages ago then voted for TheVision just after Mimi, so I was number 10.

Fucking hell, I nip home from work and while I'm commuting you lynch someone! Next time WAIT FOR ME.

Awesome though, evidently TheVision was being a very crap and very silent goon. The question remains, is myp a goon too? Or the Godfather who sacrificed one of his own to hold his own cover? hmmmmm!

From the main MafiaScum thread, in an innocent hope of clarification:

kalmar wrote:
CUS basically implied that a while ago loads of people complained about Dimrill on this board, which I find hard to believe myself.

Ehhhhhhhhhh. That was a good point made extremely, terribly badly by me. Which I'll attempt to now to re-do, for what little it's worth.

"Back in the days when you were all Bistro, everyone was coming and going, sending me PMs all the while, asking if I had contacted X, if Y knew that I was contacting Z and so on. Because it was World of CUS, and everyone was PMing me like crazy.

In fact, some people had clearly been planning an 'escape' for some time, or so it seemed. I had a few folk write me quite extensive lists of what they thought 'needed to stay' and 'needed to go', as one put it. Now, despite the fact that I had lots of insistency directed by me, at certain issues, that doesn't mean they were right.

They were, basically, a clique of sorts. And just because there were a few of them, doesn't meant they had good ideas. Such as? Well, here's a particularly stupid example of others' idiocy.

You know the reviews on the site? Like, that awesome Assassin's Creed one what I did? Well, SOME people thought it 'silly' to have picture reviews - you know like what Dimrill did. In fact, a few people said some harsh words about it to me, "Because you're his mate", to ask him to well, not.

I politely said 'No, fuck off, it's not my site, he can do what he wants, and furthermore I like them as do others. If you feel strongly about this or anything, put it to a vote'. Except, see, they basically wanted no cartoons, no comics, no 'silly' things.

Who are they? Doesn't matter, except aha, they're none of them here on BETEO. A couple of them are still on Wos, and a couple I didn't recognise the usernames of. And oh, how we have suffered! Suffered for their lack of...whatever, and instead perished under the weight of amusing drawings!

So, that's what I think of listening to 'mass opinion'."

That's what I was trying to say yesterday. Except, I sometimes manage to be terse, unusually for me! And unfortunately, when I do, it seems the perfect time for me to accidentally cause... confusion and hurt. Despite that being the last thing on my mind and in fact, quite the opposite.

Am I allowed to speculate on who I think the serial killer is?
