It has just occurred to me that I don't actually know anyone called Fred. How many do you know?

All roast chickens and turkeys in the Perkies household are called 'Fred'.

A particular genus of snail imported from Portugal to North Wales by my granddad in the 70s was called Fred. Freds still thrive there today.
