Here is a list of stuff I dislike that everyone else seems to love, in no particular order:

Monty Python
Star Wars
Mario Galaxy
Lost
The Zelda games

What's on your list?

(Disclaimer - I don't actually dislike Star Wars, but I found it merely 'okay', which is far less than everyone else in the whole world, it seems)

The one thing that springs to mind is Curb Your Enthusiasm. I just don't get it.

Also Deus Ex.

Oh, and "good" whisky. I went through a phase of reading about whisky, trying different kinds, attempting to savor all the different tastes and whatnot, but in the end I came to the conclusion that my tastebuds just like bog standard Jack Daniels more than anything else in that vein. Good for the wallet, not so good for being cool and sophisticated.

I went to spain once with 3 other lads, and all they wanted to do all day was sit on the beach. By the end of the first week I was bored stiff, and after that I was counting down the days I could go home and do something else.

I also don't like beach holidays. Reasons:

1) I hate sand. Sand is evil. It gets.... everywhere. EVERYWHERE.

2) Being incredibly fat I don't like getting half-naked in front of people. (Though, to be fair, I probably like it more than they do.)

3) I'm a bit scared of fish. And the sea has those in it. Not really phobic, but I get a bit wussy if I get too close to one.

Oh yeah I'm into that, for a bit but not for the whole time, I'd be the one off looking at ruins and stuff.

Oh, quite. Just sitting on the beach in the sun getting a suntanhorribly burnt is dull as. You may as well do that in your garden at home.

I also like the ruins and the whatnot, as well. Swimming all day every day would be a bit much.

I'll dig out the photos at some point, but we went to this awesome deserted town near Oludeniz (sp?) in Turkey. Used to be inhabited by Greeks, but they all got driven out, and then there was an earthquake. It's totally, totally cool.

I weep for the the both of you. Both me and Uncle Monty.

I love the different tastes of wine and single malt whiskey - and the quality leap from say the icky Bells, to the perfectly okay Jack Daniels through to the utterly amazing Ardbeg or Old Pulteney or Talisker is massive.

I don't like as much:

The Office UK
Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd
The Goonies (it's okay I guess)
Only Fools & Horses
Big Train (it has great moments, not enough of them)
The Spiderpig joke
Marmite
Peanut butter
Overly busy pubs

I'm not very good at this, sorry.

Beer/Lager - just don't much like the taste, can't drink much before I feel sick because of mouth-feelings, rather than drunkeness.

"Lad's Nights Out" - Keep getting invited out to the pub by my manager and accepting then remembering a night out with the pub with him and his mates isn't considered complete until you chuck up, pass out, and don't remember how you get home. NO.

Massively crowded places (any!) - I get REALLY stressed in anywhere I can't sit peacefully and chill out if I need to which rules out going to many concerts and things for bands I actually like - noone understands quite why I don't go as I'm free and have the money, but deem my personal mental health is more important than hearing a live rendition of something I own on CD.

Yep, I'm a grumpy fucker, I just stay in and play Live with my Bezzie Mates. Although my girlfriend, apart from buying me Guitar Hero 3 for Christmas because I said it was too expensive, will happily drag me out and go to the bar for me as long as I do it every now and then. My girlfriend is ACEBEST.
