Actually it's what I like to do when people can't spell my name correctly. They try to spell it with an x, or an xs, or a cks at the end. So I usually just say 'Wilcock, as in, you know, COCK'.

It would help if I elaborated I expect.

I want two people to each register a new gamertag. One will be offensive and one very inoffensive -- I won't put the names in here as I don't want them turning up on Google. I'll PM them later. There is some tedious typing for this bit, sorry. You each send friend requests from your new tag to the other person's normal tag then launch a quick game of CoD or summat (new gamertags come with 1 month of free Live Gold), one person with your new tag, one with their regular tag. File a complaint and repeat but the other way around. The upshot is each new tag receives a complaint from a normal user account.

I don't want to be one of the people as I don't want any special treatment in Xbox HQ about this. Hence also why I think the complaint should come from a game.

I think both new tags will have to change their names once the complaints are processed, as I think MS are rubber stamping the complaints. Alternatively, neither will have to change, which proves MS are not handling complaints properly. Either way I get ammo. The worst scenario is they get it right and only change the offensive tag, in which case WE FAIL.

Is anyone else up for this with myoptika? I won't lie, it is a bit of fucking around, but I hope this will be worthwhile.

Just to be clear, CUS, the complaints are going to be filed against brand-new just-made gamertags. If you ended up using that going forward it'd reset your gamerscore and achievements.

I thought someone had to complain about your tag for MSoft to ban your name? Has some plank actually complained about your name?
