Sorry for the poor quality... Atari never got the photo upload working like Forza 2 has (the option is there in-game, but it doesn't do anything)

I'll be on later tonight to give Freshbeats and CUS their moolah.

I am runner of rival evil PuertoRicanGuy club, for to whore achievements with! Any takers send their invite requests my way.

Drive to one of the "club" locations on the map (there's hundreds, if you have none now just continue playing). Apply to join either "Team Maddie" or "Puerto Rican guy" there.

The whole point of having two gangs was so that we could do the 'interclub races' achievement against each other, so if you all join PuertoRicanGuy then that scuppers that.

I joined it because about 6 on my friend's list were in Team Maddie and it was just little dim, lost and alone in PRG.

This is on its way with a 360 to play it in. I'm going to have to join metalangel's gang out of "no other cunt on here ever bought me a pint" logic. Will this upset the balance? Also, what advice ywould you give a n00b wishing to get a little into things on their first evening's play? How do I make myself useful?

Car delivery missions - early cash injection
and do the Model missions - get you used to handling.

All the first tier of missions are pretty much a doddle. As Zardoz says, the car deliveries pay really well but I find them pretty stressful - driving slowly and carefully is tough when my instincts are to barrel into stuff and bounce round corners at top speed. AND IN THE GAME.

I didn't find the model and delivery missions as UTTERLY HATEFUL as the hitchhiker ones.

Yeah, the hitchhikers are utter wankers. Who's doing who a favour here, eh? So shut your filthy whining hole, it's my car and I'll hit as much oncoming traffic as I bloody well LIKE.

"Sorry, you're too slow, I'm late!"

"Look, you hateful bitch, your destination is clearly visible not 50 yards away. If you get out of the car now, then you're basically shortchanging me for 5 (useless) coupons because you've only got to take 10 steps up the road and you're there. Die in a fire."

How do you go about getting the car delivery missions? I found the one where you had to deliver an Enzo Ferrari for $80,000, and ended up getting $33,000 ;)

Go slow and steady and don't hit anything. You can get anything up to 45k extra for doing a perfect run.

Yeah you won't realise till you do the first perfect run but you get a huge bonus (I think almost always/always 50%) for doing it perfectly.

Good chance to stick music on and cruise.

Well done to all concerned for turning up (including sicky sicky moip).

Does anyone else find cars twitch almost uncontrollably over 100mph if you move the stick more than a millimeter? I'm trying to figure out if my settings are bummed.

Some do, yeah. The Enzo grips like a muddy funster though, any pain up the arse windy race I used to use that.

No, they all do. I mean I know the Caterham is twitchier than a twitchy person with a tickly shirt on, but Driving any car at speed in a straight line is a test of champions. In the way that it most obviously isn't in Forza.

I don't use any of the driving AIDS. The handling takes a little getting used to, but after a while you learn to control the car at high speed with very subtle movements. I suppose in the same way you'd have to if you were burning it down the A34 at 150mph.

And indeed the Enzo's what I used to eventually set my 7:14. I've only really found this problem with class A cars though.

I can do it, it's just stupidly twitchy. And I can certainly say it's 1000 times worse than doing 120mph in a real car (on a properly supervised race track). The hedgerows would be littered with premiership footballers if cars handled like TDU in the real world.

Yes, not JUST that ;)

Incidentally, how easy is it to get bezzies on ranked matches? At some point I'm going to need some help getting those points.

Yeah, it's certainly a bit that way. Although I think a lot of it is artificial bumpyness in the ground as much as anything. I did say it was flawed. It's one of the more flawed games I've ever owned in fact, I just don't care :)

It was worse with the steering wheel. It put me off paying for the addon. But maybe that would turn it into fried gold. I dunno. :S

Apparently the paid add-on just turns it into the Dukes of Hazzard - AVOID.

I'll do some ranked whoring for you Dudders - just name a time.

Will do when I've cleared all the actual missions thanks :)

I've been using it with the controller. The hardcore addition is excellent fun in many ways but won't solve your problem with the twitching.

You can't use it to complete missions anyway.
