No. I am taking it back as soon as I get The Pictures from it. It's amazing that a laptop won't stay connected to the wireless.

I'm friends with all but one of my ex colleagues on facebook. Loved them, they were great. Except that one. Who probably doesn't even have a facebook because she's that kind of person. :P

My lovely new 32" monitor arrived yesterday. With three really deep scratches on the screen :(

Time to see if John Lewis customer service is as good as I've heard it to be.

Been aware of this from some reporting but read that the judge banned any sort of media coverage on this for a long time, he was challenged by 9 media outlets including the BBC through all appeal courts.

Now they have been sentenced there is a bit more information coming out.

Just fucking tragic really. The mind boggles as to what sort of kid could do this then by all accounts just not care less to the point posts of what they did were on Facebook :(

Not excusing it, but when you read about the upbringing that those girls had, that kind of violence was basically "normal" from their perspective.

A sad story from all angles really :(

Yeah just heard on the news that on the morning of the murder the mother of one of the girls gave her some cider and some anti depressants and told her to kill herself! A 13 year old girl told that.

Very true, despite the fact these 2 girls beat somebody to death, their upbringing has been shocking

I read on the BBC that after they were sentenced the younger girl had her family around her, but there was nobody there for the older one

So, she was supposed to be out yesterday. Just had confirmation that she's still there. Bailiffs requested.

Ah. Balls. Business be business, and it just a way of taking care of business. Can you go after the management people in any way?

I shall try, but I don't hold out much hope.

Got an eviction date now; 13th April @ 09:30. Really shocked it's had to go that far to be honest.

Two hour KLAXON!!!!

Thanks guys, I'm sat outside the house right now. There are bits on display in her bedroom window so I'm not holding my breath that she's gone. Me or someone from my management company (ha!) Has to be here. I need to sign a paper allowing the bailiffs to use reasonable force to remove her if need be. If she refuses to leave I can ask for her to be arrested as she'll be in breach of a court order. Really hoping it doesn't come to any of that though.

I'm just waiting for the bailiffs to arrive now.

Can a bailiff do anything if she doesn't open the door?

Can even the police do anything if she doesn't open the door?

By now I think she just about needs arresting, after everything that's happened and the loss of money, etc.

I mean if there are chains or catch locks on the inside, etc, really. In the case that the door is secured without just being the Yale lock, can force be used to obtain entry. I assume at some point it has to be otherwise this could go on forever. Hope it's all relatively smooth. Like Joans' head.

Is Joans there? He could make like a bailiff. He's got the right haircut.

Sorry, 'haircut'.

Yes, they can force the door if Jazzy says they can - it's her door. Then the baddie inside has to pay for the damage, I think.

Oh, that's good at least, as it gives a better likelihood of tying it all up today, though I doubt Jazzy will hold much hope of re-claiming the damages from that tenant. It's a shame that awful letting agency can't be held more accountable.

The bailiff's just called me, it's not her it's her son. He's smashed a door up so he's calling for police assistance.

More exciting updates as they come in.

I meant the tenant was 100% in the wrong.

Hopefully they will now bill the don fit the destruction of property. Goodness me.

I'm okay, I'm in the street that runs parallel. No one should need to come past me for anything even when they leave.

I feel quite sorry for the lad to be fair, this isn't of his doing and he has no control over it. His mum has put them in this situation.

I'm not expecting to see a penny. The shouting I heard included how could she? (Meaning me)I didn't know anything about it, where am I going to get three grand from, I'm on benefits, she knows I'm on benefits. I can't afford, etc, etc.

Indeed, he probably doesn't know anything about what's been going on. Gets up this morning to someone telling him he needs to leave his home. He's probably coming into GCSE time too.

Silly, avoidant woman.

The son will find out pretty soon (if he doesn't already know) that his mother hasn't paid rent in, what, is it close to a year? And why isn't the son in school at 10am on a Wednesday? I do feel sorry for the lad: it's not his doing, but it certainly isn't YOUR doing, either.
