Just in case you were one of the six people on the planet who didn't know this already: Mojang's "Minecraft" is kind of a big deal. In fact, the critically acclaimed "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition" just crossed the 12 million sold mark -- making it one of the most successful Xbox 360 games ever. Of course, the "Minecraft" brain trust still has plenty of surprises in store for diehard "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition" fans, including the April 18 release of the new Candy Texture Pack. Curious as ever, we recently chatted with Mojang's Daniel Kaplan to discuss the game's big milestone and its next-gen future! Xbox Wire: 12 million is an awfully big number! How does it feel to be one of the best-selling Xbox 360 titles of all-time? Daniel Kaplan: It is pretty amazing! I remember when we started talking about sales numbers that we would be super happy to sell 1 million copies. That would have put us on par with BF1943 and Castle Crashers, which both are awesome games, so that was something to aim for. We never even dreamed of selling 12 million! Xbox Wire: Are there any sweet new packs in the works for "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition?" Daniel: Of course! We're looking forward to creating mashups with other games. The Marvel collaboration is a great start and something we want to continue doing. Xbox Wire: What has impressed you most about the "Minecraft" community on Xbox 360? Daniel: The continued support and the fact that people are still able to surprise us with innovative creations. Considering you can’t "cheat" by building stuff with external tools, the community have created incredible things. Xbox Wire: What’s the most requested feature addition for "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition" from users? Daniel: Probably bigger worlds. We're pushing the limitations of the 360 in various different ways and we will continue doing that. However, bigger worlds would require the guarantee of a hard drive on each 360; since not all 360's ship with hard drives that makes things tricky. Luckily, on Xbox One, that's not an issue. Xbox Wire: Which "Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition" achievement are you most proud of unlocking? Daniel: Getting Wood! As mentioned in the other thread, I'm going to be moving parts of Old Beexworld into Pazland. If there are no objections, I'm going to move Rev Owen's walled compound into the area currently zoned for Craster's 'Airport'. Are there any other suggestions for things to be moved? |

As a test, I just plonked the Mega-Lith into a Pazland backup. It looks proper shoddy Only the best bits will be preserved, so if anyone had any gems hidden away, now's the time... |

OK! What I've done is install a plugin called Multiverse. This allows multiple worlds on the same server. I will, in time add a handy dandy portal, but for now, if you wish to visit Beexworld, type /mv tp beexworld and to return /mv tp world Beexworld looks very swish in the newer lighting engine, I must say. PLAY MINECRAFT |

I've now got Minecraft PC and shall be introducing Shorts* to Pazland at the weekend. I tried it last night and it said I wasn't whitelisted. What details do you need from me to get on the whitelist? Any chance of a more recent back-up? Also, how did you get the BeexWorld map to work? I've been having issues converting it to the newest save format. (Went back for a look around about a month ago - no matter how many times I tried, 1 block was BeexWorld, the rest was a brand new map) I ened up just backdating my minecraft. Much easier. |

Ok, have generated a new survival world. I was going to call it "SURVIVE OR DIE" but that was too long, so I shortened it to "sod" to get there, type: /mv tp sod I suggest emptying your inventory before moving over, you big cheaters! |

Since it's entirely possible to spawn at night on an MP server (as I've just discovered), I have built a dirt hut as temp shelter for new visitors. Obviously, you shouldn't use the map edit: You now can't use the map
