Hey, Davpaz. Can you upload a newer version of the map? I've finished blowing up that other one you posted. I'd like to blow up some new stuff
I loved that one you put up already. I'd like to explore all the new stuff.

First post updated with new link to backup file.

If interested parties could grab a copy to share it around, that would be splendid.

DavPaz! Would you like to see what happened to your beloved Pazland after I (FINALLY) got IC2 and TMI to work?

IC2 (or industrial craft 2) gave me nukes. (which are 40 times more powerful than regular TNT
TMI (or Too Many Items) is an in-game inventory editor. (The normal creative menu doesn't show you mods, so I installed this)

Wha??
Imagine you place one block of TNT surrounded by 10 layers of obsidian. When that block blows up, the obsidian won't. But a nuke would destroy all the obsidian, and destroy a bit more too.

So you could obliterate Dimrill's cathedral in one go? Dozens of hours of painstaking, careful work gone in a flash?

No, it took 2.
Also, that was Dimrill's? It is was brilliant, really. Everything is was brilliant, well done for building it all :)
Anyway, do you want to see a picture of it?

Given you podted them yesterday and then removef them, theres a chance theyve already seen them.

Camt imagine it would overly bother them though.

I was thinking of loading up the backup, going to Cathedrale de Dimdims and replacing every single one of the lights with TNT.

Question: Would it only blow up if someone switched the lights on?

Well my mind's been put to rest.

Anyway, has anyone experienced.. weirdness when riding the minecarts? My line to Barad-Dim is acting odd. The mincarts run, but not on the tracks. They're about 2-3 blocks removed. :S

Redstone's not working properly either. Unpowered lines remain lit up. Powered lanterns refuse to emit light.

I have, I've tried reinstalling it hundreds of times (Literally)
Should I install a specific one? I have both 32bit and 64bit installed, as the Java website recommended that.
Should I uninstall one?
(and yes, I do have a 64bit CPU and OS)

Redecorated Barad-Dim! Also wired up a lighting system. Good fun!

I had something similar to you ages ago but installing 64 bit Java fixed it, so if you have that I have no idea sorry!

Aye, he's a good lad. He knows the rules. Also, he's 8 feet away so I can give him a smack if he fucks with anything :)

I observe that the game lags and chugs (and sometimes stops altogether for five or ten seconds) when there's other players around.

Riding minecarts is also extremely broken now, with the game accurately tracking you along the tracks but from your point of view you take corners and changes in elevation either too soon or too late... so you're flying along ten feet away from the tracks, or through the ground unable to see anything.

I can't explain why this is happening, but I do have a shitty 0.5mb/s upstream.

The lag last night was shocking. It's a pity the Wolverhampton server company closed, as they were much better.
