I just meant I'd Googled the theory about the necklace and there's enough people convinced of that and presenting evidence that I'm convinced you were supposed to get the impression the theory presented. I haven't looked ahead to see whether the actual culprit is ever revealed or anything.

book spoiler that relates to TV watchers who want to know if they'll ever find out or not.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
The question of "who physically poisoned him" is still unsolved, I think. Even in book land. "Who plotted it" is semi-solved, or possibly even stated in the books. I read loads of wacky fan theories about it at the time I read it's all jumbled up in my head about what is real and what is crack-pot fan theory.

book spoiler:
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
as for who plotted it -- I remember reading it was Littlefinger giving the head-net thing to Dontos to give to Sansa. One of the beads in the head was actually some rareish poison, possibly the one Stannis's dude tried to use on whatsherface -- the red lady -- in one of the prologues. (Or another poison mentioned in the books with the same symptoms. possibly the one Cat's sister used on her husband. Whatever.) This isn't a very helpful spoiler, is it? Basically: Littlefinger arranged it with highgarden.

edit: I remember the queen of thrones goes up to Sansa and compliments her on the head-net thing and touches it? And the internet later informed me that it's at this point she removes the poison?

wasn't there two threads about GoT?

Is it possible to keep this one to the TV Show, and the other one to the book.

There are a couple of spoilers in this thread that I don't know if I can click on or not.

Thanks

Malc

Book nerds should fuck off now, unless they want to talk about the first book; it is the only one with 'Game of Thrones' in the title, of course.

We watched the first episode of the new series last night. My two favourite characters are still awesome. Diana Rigg is becoming the third part of the awesome.

Going to watch episode 2 tonight!

a) spoilers etc.
b) by they do you meant the characters, for their in-world amusement, or the producers and script-writers, for your amusement? ;)

Watched an early episode with Mrs Grim... tonight, and she instantly recognised Robert Baratheon as "Dave" and Daenerys as "the girl from the Samaritans advert".

My favourite thing about Sansa is that someone once said she's acting like she doesn't know she's in a TV show, and is just confused about why all these people are acting that way.

Molly Quinn is 20; Sophie Turner is 18. You are offside by a pretty wide margin here...

The girl who plays Sansa is not a good actress.

Not that this is the measure being discussed here, I know.

i'M MOAR ANNOYED BY THE FACT THAT JAMIE, AS PART OF A FAMILY FAMED FOR THEIR BLONDENESS HAS SUDDENLY GOT (oops, capsloack not REGGAE) dark hair.

thsi makes no sense.

Especially as all the fuss made about the blonde lionine of heritage.

Anyway, the haircut is not so much a rage-thing for me. He just had a haircut, and it's not out of keeping witht he style of people like Joffrey, and Little Finger, who both have similar haircuts.

rage/reggae. all teh same thing. It's why Bob Marley was so angry all teh time. So un-chilled.

Worryingly, I'm typing with a keyboard, though I m also eating crisps and hummous and giant gummi bears with my right hand, so typing badly with me left.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
I can't even remember what happened in the shop and I only watched it monday! For starters: There's no direct references or POV on the white walkers. There's nothing "seen" in the books about a magical "Nights King" type person touching babies and turning them into white walkers. There's vague references etc, but there's nothing so outright explicit

Also Bran and co go to Craster's house to find all of the murderers etc.
