They recorded the ending scene years ago (as the children would grow up and it would look stupid). I would imagine that season eight will be the last, unless all the main actors agree to a $kerching per episode deal.

Last night's new (to E4) episode wasn't very good.

It was a non-specific play, though. He'd built up the play and was waiting for something to use it for. Lily's boobs happened along (and he considered them large, even if Grim... doesn't), and he then got flashed by them whilst doing the cooking thing. It is entirely within character that he'd be distracted by being flashed by that which he was hoping to see anyway.

Stop over analysing it.

We have started watching these properly, from the beginning. However, we've already seen a large number of them on telly, but all out of sequence and that. So now we'll watch them in order. Even the ones we'e seen are still pretty enjoyable and I get a good laugh out of them.

Without Barney, I think the show would be pretty lame and annoyingly.... 'twee' maybe? I really do think he is one of the best characters ever.

I concur. Sheldon from TBBT is analogous to Barney, but obviously not as awesome.

Odd as it may sound, I'm still not sure I actually like this. I probably laughed out loud about five times through this entire series. Compare that with Cheers, which I have decided is going to be my latest train-watching 'project', which has aged shockingly well and makes me laugh about ten times per episode.
