I'd better watch Raw tonight so I know what's going on.

Daniel Bryan is your new god.

Roman Reigns will eliminate a ton of people.

The rest you should pick up easily enough.

Counter to all previous precedent, Randy Orton is suddenly Any Good.

I nearly added this as the third point. Orton is good when he is allowed to act naturally, in other words like a massive dick.

I really hope that as predictable as it would be, they have Bryan win the Rumble and take the title at Mania

Man, that Raw was rough. Smarmy face CM Punk is the worst CM Punk.

Mick Foley is pissed about the Royal Rumble

And amusingly, his son has trash talked HHH, stating (quite rightly) that it was Mick who got Hunner over.

Does anyone else have a feeling that this is going exactly the way the WWE has planned?

Quote possibly. The only danger is that people switch off before the 'good guy' wins

He's just placing emphasis on 'us' vs 'them'. As in 'real fans' vs 'nasty establishment'

If it's planned this way, then Triple H is way more self-aware than I'd usually give him credit for.

Deliberately pissing off your fans so much that an entire arena shits on your top title match between your top face and top heel... The payoff better be good.

Though I would like to see the Raw after Mania if they go with Orton vs Batista. Hours of 'we want Bryan' and 'Fuck you Hunter!' Chants.

Apparently, WWE are looking to bring Kurt Angle in once his current TNA contract ends, however they expect him to be unable to pass a physical to return in the ring.

Be interesting to see how that pans out.

Despite the disappointment of the end of the Rumble, it looks like they'll go HHH/Bryan at Mania, which is still cool, and you'd imagine he'll make Hunter tap.

Also, in the Rumble (and over the last few months) they really have made Roman Reigns a massive star. Him breaking the elimination record is a big deal.

They also massively put over Bray Wyatt, his family, and the other SHIELD members, so there were new stars being elevated.

My only concerns are the amount of Friends of Hunter with gold or title shots.

One more reason to be sad about the imminent breakup of the Shield: while they're busy wrestling each other they won't be wrestling Daniel Bryan. And the Shield wrestling Daniel Bryan is basically The Best Thing.

The Shield have been the best thing about the last year of wrestling. Consistently great matches pretty much every week, against established WWE main eventers, some of whom routinely suck.

The big surprise being that most people following indies and all knew that the now Ambrose and Rollins could hang, but nobody could have predicted how freaking good Reigns would be.

Plus, I think that when Ambrose goes full on mental when solo, he should be a top heel.

Another dead wrestler...

Nelson Frazier, a former WWE wrestler better known for his stage names Mabel, Viscera and Big Daddy V, passed away Tuesday at age 43 after suffering a massive heart attack.

The WWE network launches in America today and I've seen rumours that it's not too hard to access from the UK.

Hopefully this is the case because it sounds amazing.

I've managed to get access to the WWE Network using some internet jiggery pokery and it's brilliant!

More wrestling then you can ever imagine and the time lines for the videos have highlights so you can pick your matches. Very clever and if you're a wrestling fan, I'd say it's essential.

I remember the beginning was good.

Then Fucking Brock Lester happened. I think other things might have happened too, but I'm not sure.

Poor Orton though, he royally fucked his back up

Mania was a great show.

The opening seg was epic.

Bryan vs HHH was an awesome match.

The Shield got to squash the baddies.

Kofi got to pull out another from his repertoire of insane top rope escapes.

Cesaro was staggeringly, freakishly strong.

Bray Wyatt continued to be amazing.

Undertaker finally lost, when we all least expected it. And yeah, it was a surprise who got the win, but it was Taker's choice, and he clearly knew he couldn't go on any longer. The guy only wrestles one match a year and is freaking old. Let's see where they go with it.

And the finish was awesome for the fan reaction.

I decided to read the Raw reports this morning, and it sounds good. Some great things developing in WWEland.

Easily my favourite moment was the noise the crowd made when Cesaro got Big Show up for the bodyslam over the ropes. 70,000 people gasping in amazement at the same time. :D

He's my dude. There are loads of people on the show I really, really like - Bryan, Ziggler, Wyatt, everyone in the Shield, AJ, Troll Genius Triple H - but Antonio Cesaro is my dude. Fingers crossed this means a new shirt for him that's not hideously ugly.

Freaky. He just got inducted into the Hall of Fame, appeared on Raw on Monday night and cut a promo that said 'Every heart will beat its last'.

Can't say I know anything about him as a person, but as a wrestler he was the dude from my era of watching. Him vs Hulk was amazing, and I went to see him at Wembley Arena for Summerslam :D

I watched Wrestlemania 7 the other day and there were something like 15 of the roster who had died since. Compare that to the Superbowl of the same year and only 1 person had died and that was in a car accident. It's a crazy world.

Post-Mania Raw was typically awesome.

My favourite sign:

Batista Check List
1 - Buy skinny jeans
2 - Make bad movies
3 - Lose at Mania
