She's long since dead in the comics so presumably it's TV network squeamishness at work. Or I'm just being cynical and they honestly think having her around is better for long term character development.

Yes. I agree. Even though i like Glenn, it would be better if he had died to not make all the red shirts so obvious. And yes, Maggie is hot, and i also find her sister cute. Why is Daryl being such a bitch to her? As if Carol was better.

He was always quite a sullen prick as he'd had a pretty shite life but they took care to show him opening up both due to his friendship with Carol and with his becoming a respected and liked member of their prison community. With Carol gone, the prison blown to shit and their community either dead or scattered to the winds all that's been taken away from him so he's reverting a bit to type, while also presumably being understandably miserable over what he's lost. Given the character building they've done with him I think his current behaviour makes sense. Presumably he'll come back out of his shell when everyone inevitably reunites later on.

The actress playing Lizzy was incredible. This show has a fantastic knack of making you sympathise with psychotic murderers.

Having caught up with the last two episodes I'm not bothered by Carl; while he's still a bit of a tit at times he's at least now going out because they need food etc as opposed to when he was younger and would just automatically run in the fucking direction of zombies as soon as anyone turned their back. No, the new most annoying thing about the show are those two fucking sisters; the rabbit murdering sociopath-in-the-making and her whiny special-faced sister. Even in the last season within the relative safety of the prison they were annoying as fuck but now they're a million times worse.

It's more about how they move and talk and stuff, but even there the smiles look the same. Latest episode was decent, though ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view! Damn near every fucker survived. Boo! That whole aspect is pretty silly and something Mrs B and I picked up on as well. 'Walking near zombies' wouldn't make any difference and certainly isn't something any other character has got away with. Also, even without arms and jaws Michonne's pets would still act like a zombie, they'd still try to gum her to death etc, because they're brainless instinct machine and nothing else. It's not like they're going to take a look at their physical state and reason out, "Well, I can't physically eat anything any more so I might as well just stand here passively." Even zombies that are literally just a head still instinctively try and eat shit; it's their only defining characteristic! The whole setup is in service of making Michonne look more hardcore which is disappointing given how many of the show's own rules they have to suspend to accomplish it.

I like the current episode style where they focus on a couple of people for most of the episode. There were times when I stopped watching this show as I found it too tense. I had built up 10 or so of S3 My wife loves the show and made we start it again!

Bit of a transition episode yesterday. Moved the plot along a bit and gave us more insight into some people, but aside from one thing, not much happened. Still can't believe Emily Kinney is 28 (Beth). She does singing too. Downloaded an EP of hers this morning. It's more or less what you'd expect; cutesy twee singer/songwriter stuff, but I like that kind of thing.
