Also, why aren't the zombies eating Michonne? She's not covered in zombie guts.

Because she has her pets and she is walking like a zombie

If "walking near a couple of zombies" makes you invisible to them, why can't they all just walk next to any zombies that come along?

Because those ones will attack you? Machone's pets were on a leach, and had no arms or jaw.

That whole aspect is pretty silly and something Mrs B and I picked up on as well. 'Walking near zombies' wouldn't make any difference and certainly isn't something any other character has got away with. Also, even without arms and jaws Michonne's pets would still act like a zombie, they'd still try to gum her to death etc, because they're brainless instinct machine and nothing else. It's not like they're going to take a look at their physical state and reason out, "Well, I can't physically eat anything any more so I might as well just stand here passively." Even zombies that are literally just a head still instinctively try and eat shit; it's their only defining characteristic! The whole setup is in service of making Michonne look more hardcore which is disappointing given how many of the show's own rules they have to suspend to accomplish it.

Bit of a transition episode yesterday. Moved the plot along a bit and gave us more insight into some people, but aside from one thing, not much happened.

Still can't believe Emily Kinney is 28 (Beth). She does singing too. Downloaded an EP of hers this morning. It's more or less what you'd expect; cutesy twee singer/songwriter stuff, but I like that kind of thing.

The actress playing Lizzy was incredible. This show has a fantastic knack of making you sympathise with psychotic murderers.

It says something that I'm in the US from Saturday and am very happy that we're in sync, and the next episode is therefore on Sunday evening instead of Monday

Utterly horrible.

Episode 15 is available to watch, so I will be seeing that one tonight or tomorrow.

I'm wondering if the "terminus" is the equivalent of that congressman's walled town in the comics, or if it will jump straight to the hilltop scenario, and that nutter Nate or whatever his name was.

I've seen Ep15. I suspect your answer will be given in the 'season finale' next week.

I've got the first Walking Dead compendium. I must try to read more of it, but it really wasn't grabbing me too much.

The first compendium ends at the end of the prison.

Yeah, I got it because I didn't want spoilers for the series, but wanted to see the source material. Haven't got very far in it, but were it not for the quality of the TV show I wouldn't be likely to go any further.

Here's my guess about tonight's finale:

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
TWD isn't known for cliff hangers at the end of the season so I think it'll play out like this:

A) intro to Sanctuary
B) tearful reunion as all the protagonists start to arrive.
C) Rick and Carol have a moment but Rick is pleased to see her after all.
D) Crossbow guy stumbles across bad guys who hold blonde OR her body. This'll be the ending.

Nope.

I'm interested in seeing what happens from here. The people in the camp were intentionally not actually shooting them (though that didn't work out so well when they killed their own mate), so the reason might be interesting. They seemed to shepherd them to their destination via that weird room. If I wasn't lazy I'd go back and see what exactly was in it. There was also a yard with some weird shit in it, like remains or something.

I hope they're not cannibals.

Rick was being properly heroic.

Not as much as Mrs Rambo, though.

Also, kudos for not lighting a fire with bullets (which wouldn't work).

Oh, I have no idea. I started reading the comics but found the start to be really badly written and annoying. I must go back and give it another go.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
I do wonder if the flashbacks to where the cannibals are the ones getting locked up and tortured will be a thing for the whole series or not, to give them context and involve them further.

On the episode I downloaded this section was sponsored by MS Surface Pro so may be in every episode going forward.

It was a cracking episode and broke previous viewing records for a cable show in the US something around 17.6 million viewers. Fox are by all accounts releasing the showing everywhere at the same time to reduce piracy.

Couldn't beat the most downloaded episode record though that's still held by game of thrones :D

Mine too. It did it last series as well. I don't mind that so much, I just turn it off.

What I mind is missing something because I do that :(

No bonus end scenes on that one.

Some interesting developments, but obviously after the massive stuff last episode it needed to be as much about setting up the next few things too.

I was wondering...

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Bob was acting weird before he was taken... we thought for sure he'd been bitten and was walking off into the woods to cry and kill himself. Do you think there's a chance of that, or not since the cannibals would surely have spotted it? If not, why was he leaving?
