Had a phone interview with housing options yesterday.

Apparently because both Mrs JC and I are registered disabled we may be eligible for a sheltered accommodation property usually assigned to those over 60. They're looking into it now.

This would be ideal for both Mrs JC and I on account of us both not wanting to be around children and feeling more at ease with the elderly (all of our friends are nearly 70).

British Gas came and and fixed my electrics, its been tripping all week.

Culprit was a IP65 outside box and water, I was surprised as I checked all of these. The guy said that water had soaked into the 4 way plug inside the box and that wasn't noticeable without taking it to bits.

He also tells me I have no earth, although a questionable attempt was made to use some redundant water pipes for this purpose by the previous owner of the house

So have that to fix as well once i get a quote.

Cavey, fantastic news! I'm really pleased for you all. :)

We went to IKEA for breakfast and happened to still be there for lunch... the cinnamon rolls were fresh out of the oven, when I opened the bag it smelled like Christmas. :luv:
