Somehow, and I didn't think this possible, I think we may be even worse at this than we were at naming Mr Kissyfurs second born.

He'll always be Richard Gaywood to me.

We ended up with Purdey on the left and Tribble on the right.

I got my first mention on the Guardian's (cricket coverage) OBO the other day. Today, sat on a plane to Adelaide, I realised the bloke next to me was a journalist. Little spying later, and I realised it was the one I'd written to. So once he'd finished typing, I interrupted and we chatted. I wasn't totally embarrassing. I think.

Nice! Which one was it?

My brother and I used to compete to see who could get more mentions, back in the day.

In this week's shopping, we ordered a couple of battery powered toothbrushes for the kids. Total of £6 for the two.

Tesco didn't have these in stock though so they've been substituted with proper electric toothbrushes totalling £64 and of course, we've only been charged £6. Brilliant.

That is an unusually good result, but it sounds like the order picker didn't really pay attention to what they were doing. Those battery powered ones are good, though. I bought one by mistake before Christmas, thinking it was just an ordinary one, and I think it's great for the price.

They are good, we've had them before and have been quite happy with them. Now we're happier with the electric toothbrushes though!

The lady who handed the shopping over declared it as the best substitution she's ever seen!

Did you get both the tooth brush heads and the masturbatory heads with them?

Christ, there should be all sorts of checks in place to make sure that doesn't happen.

I would have thought so yes. Surely the scanners or computers should have checks installed so that it flags up stuff like this and won't let you scan them? Either way... I'm happy.

My nan once ordered a thing of 8 chicken breasts and they delivered eight whole chickens. When the lady delivered them she said it looked as if one of them was a bit damp and some of the juices or whatever has run a tiny bit, so she was going to refund the whole lot as she couldn’t tell which one it was, then my nan could dispose of them or whatever she wanted, completely up to her about disposing of them. I packed away her shopping. Luckily she had a stupidly massive freezer. I don’t think there was anything wrong with any of them and she just thought my nan should have eight free chickens.

I'm sure there are. And I'm sure there are minimum wage packers who don't give a fuck too.
