Gotta doff my cap to the NHS. They don't mess around with this stuff. Four hours and Mrs JC had three different tests and got the results straight away.

It will probably be quite tiring whilst you get back into the swing of things. A phased return will hopefully help in that regards. Had you been off for long?

Think I'm cracking this single living lark. Done a load of laundry, tidied up, learnt some Spanish, cooked a proper meal, done half the dishes and had time for a bit of gaming. All after a full day at work.

When I left my last relationship and moved back into my flat, I managed to do all of that for about a week and then I fell back into my lazy-bones mode - kudos if you can keep it up!

Well I moved out last October, so it's taken all of ten months and seven weeks off work to get to this stage, so I'm determined to keep it up now.

Pfft. Being a viable adult is knowing when you don't have to adult. I had toasted cheese and spam sandwiches for dinner, they were great.

I quite like the idea of using adult as a verb.

I'm going to adult tonight.

'Still in bed' sort of implies you've had the cereal at hand all night. Is this the case? Do you sleep with a box of rice crispies next to you?

No, I have to get up to use the bathroom approximately avery 120 seconds. I poured a handful of 'golden nuggets' (cereal, made for kids) into a bowl and brought them back to bed with me on a detour past the kitchen about two hours ago.

I have only just realised that I have a whole tin of cereal bars that Russell put out for me, which would have made more sense.

Also, a macaroni cheese he made last night, which I could have microwaved.

Maybe if I go for a walk to the kitchen a little later I will investigate.

We had a bit of a decadent holiday 3 years ago to St Lucia with Virgin.

Flew on their business class and amassed some of their Air Miles, they emailed me to say the account was going to be closed due to no activity and we would loose the miles

So I called them and converted the miles to Virgin Wine credit, got £100 then set up an account in my wife's name as I already had one which gave me a welcome £40 credit

So 16 bottles of Rose wine for £17 cost to me delivered, just over £1 a bottle :DD

Where did you stay? We stayed at Rendezvous and the hotel on the bay by the harbour. I liked the holiday but I don't think I would go back: The pan handlers on the beach were an annoyance, the poverty was massive and I felt bad about that but the staff were friendly.
