Wife and son gone to Dublin, miss them both, especially the constant consumption of my time from my son on weekends.

On the Yay side took Friday off and got 3 1000 litre bags of bark chippings spread all over the flower beds, then spent the rest of that day and today in the garden doing loads of jobs. Also had a number of people round to look at jobs like leaks and stuff.

So real sense of achievement there, been so long since I had the time to loose myself in my garden for a day.

Large steak on the go now and Sci-fi TV binge tonight followed by another 7 hours of work in the garden tomorrow.

Odd silence in the house though and miss the noise and activity of a 20 month old child ?:|

We finally handed over the keys to the rental agency yesterday. There were still some jobs to do, but it's good enough for viewings now. :)

Potential local-ish football venue. Might only happen if we get the cup next year though.

"Hull and Liverpool are the shit that weighs down the M62, making sure the good stuff in tbe middle doesn't move" said a comedian I saw, immediately getting the Leeds crowd on his side by using Rules 1 and 2.

Thar old film? I was trying to find an article I read about "how a good wrestler talks to the crowd " and I think Rule one was "say something good about where you are" and rule 2 was "then say something bad about the local rivals" So i'd say "It's great to be in Cornwall, where cream teas are done proper, rather than those shitty ones in Devon". But I cannot find it. It was on a blog Curio has linked to I think.

I'm going to go and live by the beach in a tropical paradise for a bit.

Flying to Cambodia early tomorrow. One way ticket, not got any plan for coming back. It's hot all the time there, the cost of living is super cheap, and all I need to do my job is an internet connection. Instead of just about getting by OK in the UK, I'll (hopefully) be able to live like a king.

Have you checked on how good their internet is? I'd have thought it would be shit, as it's jammed with Westerners trying to find lady boys.

So is tourist's money.

Not really interested in prostitues, but de facto legal weed is appealing.

Probably will go to a shooting range too.

Got a 5% pay rise, which isn't too bad.
On the down side that's after three years and it also means I'm still earning slightly less than an ex-member of staff was being paid and I'd taken over his reponsibilities when he left.

Cooked dinner 7 nights in a row on various barbecues I have.

Best run ever and I've been using older grills with some new cooking things and had really good results.

Love cooking outside on coal!!

Got to say hello, but didn't have anything to use for an autograph.
