I went out alone for the first time in nearly three years. Actually took the bus too.

When I scanned my bus pass the driver realised it was a disabled pass and was really kind and helpful in getting me where I needed to go. Felt a bit groggy at the bus stop 'cause of my meds but no panic attacks in sight.

Sooooo proud of myself.

Yay.

Yeah basically that's why all the computers. I don't drink and I swapped smoking for vapour two and a half years back and that costs me £6 a week.

I just got into really bad habits. Buying everything including the shopping online and always getting my lady to drive me places.

It was so weird. The noise of outside just sounded so strange and really loud. Once my senses had dumbed down a bit though it was OK.

Thankfully I live in and around a lot of old people and they're just awesome. Had a really lovely chat at both bus stops :)

A few months ago I bought my son a remote control digger from Amazon

He was a bit young for it, but loved it so I didn't mind that much :)

Within a day it was broken and one side of the tracks wouldn't move, after that he just like to beat it up with his other toys so now its a bit of a mess, although he still loves it

Got an email last night from Amazon telling me it was dangerous (electric shock risk) along with a full refund

So I chucked the remote and removed the batteries and he is still playing with it!

I got home Friday to a letter from Black Horse. Thought it was just touting for low rate loans etc but opened it and it was a reversal of a PPI decision they made about 4 years ago. For some reason they had looked at it again after the initial rejection and are now sending me £580.

What with no rent to pay this month and getting my deposit back that's £1,700 extra this month.

Hooray for June.

(apart from dropping my mobile in a toilet bowl full of piss but I've got a Galaxy S6 now so YAY sort of)

Our son (2 next week) is (finally) starting to say words

He has always been lazy, with walking and crawling as well as talking. If you ask him so say something like book, he will look at you and giggle then say it as he walks off!

Yesterday I was taking him out for them morning and my wife said bye bye to him, he said bye bye mama :) So 2 words at the same time!

Very happy wife yesterday

A triple heart bypass? Wow. The way your message reads says that it wasn't supposed to be that. What was he actually expecting?

Also, wish him a speedy recovery from me! I hope he has plenty of time to take it easy from now on.

Popped in to see him earlier. He was basically propped up in a chair with tubes and wires everywhere, sipping water through a straw. He's in good spirits, though. But then so would I be if I was on as many drugs as that.

Expected a double but got three. Highly unrecommended experience. All the staff involved with my treatment have been wonderful.

Need to get myself fit again now.

Was this planned, Z, or did things take a turn for the worst and this was an emergency thing?

Either way, glad to hear you're (relatively) ok. :luv:

It was planned since I had my heart attack in March. They treated the closed artery with stents then but saw the condition of the other arteries when I had an angiogram. Glad they did all the remaining ones at once really. Fucking amazing how I am considering what they've done.

Poor Mimi.

Aparently I'm looking better now, not rellying on the stronger painkillers (liquid morphene and tramadol cocktail ftw!) just on BIG cocodamols now. Pleaaed with my progress, just want oxygen level raised. Air pocket in stomach from the line going in is pressing against bottom of my lungs so having physio doing breathing exercises with me.

And I guess my lifestyle between the ages of 17-30 didn't help.
