We had a chap start work for us who tried to get away with a two month overlap, not realising his old employer was a customer of ours.

Some plastic broke off our dishwasher on the main body at the top, so it started to make a lot more noise and leak a bit of water.

So I did what every good husband would do and ignored it as it was still working.

Now its tripping all the sockets in the house, so I guess some water is getting into the internal electrics.

Just been online to Curry's and ordered a new one that will be here Saturday and for another £90 they install everything (its integrated) and take the old one and all the packaging from the new one away

I could install it myself to be honest but I can't be arsed, we are up half the night with my son and I have a million and one jobs to do in the garden over Easter.

Brilliant! I thought I would be waiting weeks what with Easter holidays, looks like nothing stops for commerce any more!

Not a very good one if it takes him four days to perform an MOT.

Wife and son gone to in-laws in Dublin for the week.

For now its Yay as I came home at 5pm, did some bits in the garden, had a beer then made dinner

Now I can watch some TV and have nothing else to do but please myself, followed by a good nights sleep. Not been able to do this for 11 months

However already missing my son and wife so guess it maybe a Nay by the end of the week!!

Wife and son back now, all the extra sleep I had this week has been erased in terms of benefit as he was up 4 times last night.

He has also given me his cold, so I feel like crap

Wouldn't have it any other way though, so YAY :p

I needed to raise £6,912 for the deposit on the house that I've started to buy. This seemed to be a mammoth task, so much so that I was facing the possibility of just shoving it on a credit card and dealing with it after.

Since the 24th April, through luck and the selling of excess car parts, I've managed to raise £6,437.

Woo!

This will perhaps be the greatest yay in the history of yays.

Today I had a kinder surprise that had a double double shell. It was an outer shell of milk chocolate with an inner shell of white chocolate, followed by a further inner shall of milk chocolate, follwed by a final white chocolate inner shell.

There was twice as much yummy chocolate, it was really heavy AND I got a build your own working padlock with a secret compartment as a toy. It also had stickers.

Boom.

For the last couple of years I've been working on and off on a website. I finally went live a couple of weeks ago and today there is a (very small) pending amount of sales commission waiting for me.

I believe that now makes me an entrepreneur with his own internet start up.

Speaking of cookies (nice link)

The mobile site has stopped remembering where I am in about 85% of the forums threads. When I open a thread, it just defaults to the top of the last read page. Most annoying.

Are you touching the right bit (the text, specifically?).

Does it still work if you look at it on a "real" computer?

There was a recent scandal at our place where someone entered a bought cake from a local cake maker into a baking contest and won but then got busted when the winning cake got posted onto Facebook.

I didn't have much time to prepare, so I rotary deposited them in a kitchen at work, then 9 minutes in the oven. BOOM! Done. next time, I'd swap teh caramel for dark chocolate, and add a bit more carrot flavor.

Yes and yes. I've recently updated my phone but before then, it worked fine.

I've deleted my cookies on both my phone and the board but I'm at a loss as to what would be different with the new software on my phone?
