I managed to miss my last direct train last night, so I had to get a taxi from Purley, which was a bit of a pain. I could have sworn there was a 12.15 one. Ho hum.

I just had time to grab a baguette from Upper Crust on the way to my train. It was, as they always are, disappointing.

I did feel a little like Chris Martin though as I left the bar into that tunnel, and jogged down it.

Dudley and I had a sort of pizza thing. I thought it was quite nice, although I didn't think I would.

The missus had bought a chinese take-away, so I had some manky chinese leftovers when I got home.

I wasn't in work last week, and didn't feel like going all the way into London on a day off (so I didn't bother going to see my friend's band either). Colour-me-lazy.

Hmm - several people ask the same question I did though - how exactly do you update a NIC's firmware over the wire? I've never seen any that would let you.
