What does this do exactly? I played with it for 10 minutes and asked it to find 1080P Game of Thrones, it found fuck all and kept going on about scanning library's??

You look to have it set up OK though.

Hmm. Friendly looking.

Once installed I think is the trick - of course I'm not doing it any favors by trying to put it on my NAS box (A Synology which it said is supported) - i'm about 5 install packages in and will see what it can find :-)

Have you added something for it to search on (an indexing site, like Ginga Daddy) and told it what software to use to download with (ie. Sabnzbd)?

Newsgroups are complicated to start with but need very little time once they're all set up.

Newsgroups have certainly come a long way from when I used to use them.
First job of the day was to come home from work, sync the headers in a few binaries groups and look through for "stuff" to download, then an hour later find that you've not got enough PARs to deal with the missing RARs.

Ah I see, what I do is have RSS feeds for categories like TV, then from there I have Outlook rules that move everything I'm interested in to a folder

How are people doing with sickbeard downloading lately? It's frequently failing to find me the downloads I want.

No to the latest Flash, Agents, Legend of Korra, Once Upon a Time...

Managed a fair few others but I just wondered if there were perhaps more reliable places than the in built sickbeard places.

Mine does alright, i'm using usenet-crawler as my index, with the inbuilt one as a backup.
I'd say I get a couple of fails a week, but re-searching a couple of days later always picks them up.

I just tend to torrent the failures. Usually as I need them for a specific day.

Mine also does okay, but hopefully NZBDrone will do better. I shall let you know.

Ta. I'll swap over if it seems ok. I assume you can just import everything easily and it doesn't need much setup?

It's a lot like SickBeard in terms of setup.

Tweaknews look to be complying with takedowns now, was looking for Salem the other day and it was all gone most of the posts were 200 days or less.

Its not the first time I've had issues in the last 6 months.

They are a lot slower requiring an online form and I guess manual intervention as a pose to the US ones that do it in an hour or less

Found what I wanted on BT in the end

They have always complied with takedowns IIRC, they just take over a week to action them, which is perfect for sickbeard users :)
