Well, you say that, but it's only a matter of degree between chucking goats out of towers and eating halal meat.

I plan to do neither.

They could ban Glee. And mincing.

I think I'd enjoy that. Up and out the door early, done by 2pm, pub by half two. A few people I worked with have had a job as a binman, they said it was excellent fun, and they always did it as quick as possible as they were paid the same and saw some odd sights, such as naked tennis.

Also, Partner from firm A just called me on my mobile, so now I've got his cell number. hurrah!

I plan to do neither.

Racist.

Actually, you probably already do eat halal meat. There was an article in The Grocer the other day about how much imported meat is actually prepared as halal, and often not labelled as such when it ends up on the supermarket shelves. Interestingly, KFC went entirely halal for ages, until recently.

Bins live outside, and I drag them the quarter mile up the drive to the road at about 0730 on bin day. We don't produce a lot of rubbish due to recycling boxes and super awesome compost bin in the North garden.

Don't worry, the Bin Nazi Patrol will note all cases of non-compliance and haul the perpetrators off for summary execution.

I had goats head curry in Oman. Henry, the house boy (he was 65ish) made it, as he cooked for us every friday. We tried to eat out as much as possible on Fridays. It was a whole head. In curry sauce. With rice. But not Hal al. he was a catholic. From India.

Correct. And?

Using religion as an reason or justification to be cruel to or exploit animals is not cool, no matter which religion it is.

Dawk-fact.

It was foul.

Mind you, he taught me a lot about cricket as he used to watch it as he did the ironing.

I said cultural and religious, though.

And anyway, using religion as a justification for doing or not doing something is just as valid or invalid as using any other belief system which is merely values-based.
