See? We need sub-fora! And topic icons!

or you take happy pills :)

I'm very happy indeed, despite VW Golfs of all engine varieties.

Awesomely, I can see the building where they're having the debate tomorrow night. They didn't bloody well tell us it was near here though, otherwise I'd have worked out how to get a ticket.

Apparently some Cornish person in Cornwall threw a pasty at Cameron. It was on the news.

Over to MaliA with more on that story. MaliA?

If it's an Oggie Oggie then that's a tremendous waste and said person needs to be slapped.

That was on the news here. I'm sure they said Truro. In which case it would have highly likely been an Oggie Oggie and thus was an utter waste.

*drool* The brocolli and sweetcorn one is like porn.

Yeah. Oggie Oggie is the highlight of visiting truro. Strange that, I never really thought of that before. I would actually go as far as adding those pastys to my top 5 fave foods ever eaten and it's loads of pastry.

We should chip in and get a Van franchise and use it for transport/food/lodgings/pocketmoney for our Oktober fest meet next year.

I was explaining this to MrsA and she looked at me like I was suffering from a bout of The Mentals. I explained further and she still looked at me like I was wrong. And to prove the point, and, at risk of upsetting Mr Chris some more, she just sent me this as she wants a car...

EDIT: Oggy Oggy are inferior pasties eaten by the unenlightened. Rowes are the bestest.

Just starting to watch part 4 of The Pacific which I have on V+. Why the crap did Sky decide to put a 3 minute long advert for the series on immediately before it starts? Sat there watching an advert for 2 minutes before I realised I had more fast forwarding to do.

Talking of Sky, how phenomenally shit is it that Debate #2 is for Sky (or cable, IIRC what channels you get) subscribers only?

Demoracy - only couch potatos can participate tomorrow.

I think News24 are showing it, so it's only non-digital viewers who are missing out:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00s6498

EDIT: oh, and Radio 4 are broadcasting it too.

EDIT2: But, yes, it is the kind of thing which ought to be shown on the main networks, rather than just digital.

Yay! Hoorah for News 24. Thank you sir - that'll cheer Mrs C up hugely when she gets back from the playgroup committee meeting. She was quite cross about it being on Sky only. "Quite cross" on her fairly extensive Richter scale being quite something.

Of course, we all only have digital now, what with analogue being switched off... ;)

Played footy this evening.

I am now monumentally exhausted.

But we won. And I scored.

Buy an xbox* freeview box (channel 82) or watch it online.

I realise this question is about 13 years out of date, but how does everyone store their music?
I'm talking in terms of directory structure/filenames.

For the last seven years or so I've just let iTunes sort it out for me.

I usually go with Artist/Album/'XX name.mp3' (where XX is the track number).

That only works for non-classical stuff however. My classical collection is a complete mess as I've never been able to devise a system to manage classical music, especially where I have two or more recordings of the same piece.

Which, for me, was exactly how I used to do it in Winamp: Music/<artist>/<album>/<tracknum> - <trackname>
