It's like, 'how much more black could this be?' and the answer is 'None. None more black.'

I wanted to dig out a pic from Cottage 1 so I could do a whole 'Do you remember the first time' riff, but couldn't find any that didn't include Gaz's horse head of horrors. So instead here's one I found from Cottage III, where I am clearly getting ready for 'Mafia'.

On the theme of walking, here's a crappy webcam pic from a few minutes ago of me, not walking. Although I am wearing a fitbit should I get the urge.

I think I was looking directly into the sun to get the lake in the background and I'm pretty sure that was the halfway point and I did 18 Miles of walking that day. Under that hoodie I was wearing a t-shirt that said something like: Everywhere is walking distance if you have the time.

Which isn't strictly true, because I don't think you can walk to the moon, or another planet.

Easy. Rig up a treadmill with magnets to generate current. Use this to power a massive electric light. This emits photons which hit an absorbent surface and heats up. Soon, it will be hot enough to combust the primary thruster and a chain reaction will fire the larger secondary. Once in orbit, continue on the treadmill to fire photons out behind you and Newtonian physics dictates you will accelerate. Aim at planet. Land.

Yeah I've got my winter plumage too, although mainly because our daughter wanted me to grow a beard again. Mostly so she can just try and pull it out.
