I picked that up in Toys R Us this week for just £4.99. I don't know if that's a good price or not but it was less than a fiver so it was ok with me.

Link your Nintendo account to your Nintendo ID and they will give you some of Zardoz's stolen stars (750)

Just went through this for my account and it worked fine for me.

I think I've already done this. To be honest, I get very confused with Nintendos user name/ID thingys.

My ad card is full. Can i just copy everything over to a 16gig one or will o then lose something /will nintendo block that?)

Author:  LewieP [ Sun Aug 09, 2015 8:51 ]
Post subject:  Re: The Nintendo 3DS

Yeah, you can do exactly that as long as it's going back in the same console.

Although if it's a 64gb or bigger card, it's a little fiddly, because you need to format it in FAT32, and neither the 3DS console or Windows will let you do this for cards bigger than 32gb. You need to grab a 3rd party tool. I think I used this and it worked fine.

Edit: Oh wait you're using a 16gb card. You can format it with a PC or with the 3DS itself easily enough then.

Someone tried the project x zone demo. It is quite gun. A light weight pseudo phone emblem mash of Japan animeren characters and Phoenix Wright

Not sure i will be enjoying it for a whole game though.

Finally put a 32 gb card in it and filled it partly with nice little games from the eshop. Finally giving retro city rampage a good crack.

I played and completed the first Project X Zone and it took about 60 hours to do. It was good, interesting and sometimes funny but it did drag a little towards the end. I'll probably buy the second only because Ryo from Shenmue is in it.

He doesn't but apparently he does keep asking if anyone has seen any sailors. I've seen a screenshot of someone chastising him because of it.

Post subject:  Re: The Nintendo 3DS

so, the snes has arrived on the 3ds e-shop.. but only for the new 3ds (the nintendo direct video citing that the button layout is similar)... mario world, earthbound as first games...
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016- ... al-console

Is this true?
Quote:
People really need to do their research about these sort of things. The problem isn't emulating the SNES's CPU. It's emulating the rest of the system, like its PPU, which is the problem. Why could the DS do it to an extent? Because it has 2D hardware, improved from the GBA, to offload PPU processing. It's not exactly capable of all that the SNES's PPU could do (like offset-per-tile or tile priorities), but close enough. The 3DS in 3DS mode lacks any sort of 2D hardware, so it either has to do it all by software-rendering (which o3DS can't do at 60fps), or use textured polygons via the GPU, which lacks necessary capabilities to mimic what an SNES would display and is pretty problematic when scanline manipulation comes into play with all BGs, causing a rough estimate of up to 2.66 million polygons per second needed to render in a worst-case scenario with most games running in Mode 1 (3 BGs).

furthermore, meteoroid prime is aimed at the new 3ds too, looks quite great..

Downloaded the demo of hyrule warriors legends, fun, but seems a bit samey after ten mins, should i start discovering deeper layers?

by the way.. i saw that advance dual strike is now available for the WiiU shop virtual console... can some explain why they don't put that on the 3ds e shop.. the 3ds can play ds games, so why not? (i have the game already.. should start playing it again)

Post subject:  Re: The Nintendo 3DS

Ages ago I downloaded Nano Assault Ex (it was probably cheap in a sale) but never really bothered with it as it required the circle pad pro to get the best from it.

Anyway, I attached my circle pad pro today and the game is great! It's exactly like Super Stardust on the PS3 except you're not on a planet. From what I can tell (by half watching the intro) you're a teeny tiny ship that has to kill germs or something on potato shaped object.

The game then goes into a first person type affair very similar to the tunnel missions from Stardust on the Amiga. It's all very shooty, nice looking and bloody hard.

I like it. If you have a 3DS (loads of people) and a circle pad pro (two people) then I'd heartily recommend picking it up.

Not sure if this is the best place for this, but I discovered my old ds lite during the house move and think it might be ripe for use on the commute. So, anyone with any ds games they might like to flog, give me a holler.

Has anyone been using the badge arcade on the 3DS? It's basically a grabber machine where you can win virtual badges to decorate your home screen.

It sounds a bit pointless and I guess it is, but the way it's presented is typically Nintendo like awesome. You can buy 5 goes for 90p but occasionally they'll give you free plays.

It's nice.

A couple of the DS Tony Hawk games are alright, and can be played on a 3DS. That's the best I can think of.

You can also get Snowboard kids on the DS. That will work on the 3DS and it's not that bad.

I think I used it once, but stopped when it asked for actual currency money.

Used to take my 3DS out regularly for StreetPasses until all of the relays were deactivated earlier in the year. The only ones active in the UK now are in branches of Game. That isn't very good.
