... slutty witches wearing nothing but naughty secretary glasses.

Nobody seems to have mentioned Darksiders yet (well a search doesn't bring up any results). Looks like pretty good fun, taking just a "hint" of inspiration from God of War and combining it with a good dose of Bible Belt End Days indoctrination.

No damn reviews or demo, though there's a fairly positive preview on Eurogamer.

VG24/7 have been enjoying it alot, I watched the video they have up of the first 20 minutes and it looks pretty much by numbers hacky slashy.

I'm very tempted. I like the art style a lot.

A friend of mine says this will be good.. Judging by his past performance, I'll stick with Bayonetta.

I'll get it if 75% of you lot say it's good and when it costs £10.

This is quite possibly the most derrivative game I have ever played.

It is also terribly reliant on cut scenes for everything. Anything that could possibly take place in a cut scene, does.

Aww, it wasn't that bad. My review speaks the truth. Sure it's derivative, but at least it doesn't have QTEs.

Incidentally, what does everyone think of the new site I'm writing for?

I couldn't read the white-on-dark text without straining my eyes, and the static background annoyed the fuck out of me. Couple that with the massive block of all-caps at the top, and I stopped bothering, sorry.

The page half-loaded for me eventually (180seconds +) - some of the CSS was missing so the layout wasn't right. Reading was troublesome, but I did pick up that you called Cloud's sword from FF7 a broadsword, then showed a picture of him holding a backsword.
Obviously, as soon as I had my opportunity to be pedantic, I had no reason to carry on reading.

That's weird, it works perfectly fine for me. I'm surprised nobody mentioned the daily news videos featuring birds with huge norks. I can vouch that one of them is really a gamer (Christina) don't know about the others though.

Edit: Also, no props at all for the 'Buy It', 'Borrow It', 'Bin It' rating system? Phht. You guys are tough to please.

I looked earlier, it loaded, but had no time. Tried again just now, and the servers down again.

I'm also not so sure I want a site called pimp.tv in my history, mind.

I didn't like the first game, but I got the second one on PS4 for cheap. Maybe I'll play it.

Apparently, I managed 0.7 hours of the first game before stopping for not enjoying it.

Unfortunately, I'd bought 1 and 2 together.

They're both not very good. The first is mechanically ok but has the worst art style i've ever seen.

I played a bit of the second and it seemed to suffer from feature creep. And looked as crap as the first anyway. Don't know why there's so much fuss over this series.

The first one was brilliant. It didn't have an original idea in it's head but it cribbed from the best and blended them together lovingly enough to make it enourmous fun. The second one bored the shit out of me for reasons I can't really put my finger on and I only played it for a couple of hours before giving up. It just seemed really unfocussed and boring. The art style in that trailer is generic as all hell and the main character being all high heels, tits and a whip is pretty fucking off-putting; but we'll see how it goes I suppose.
