Yes. Playing through it solo certainly wasn't a patch on the romping we had with Pundy, Dave and I.

I'm nearly at the end, I'd be up for a 1337 runthrough with my Cyber buddies.

Also a recipe for RSI. Waste of 800 points there having got further into it. It's like Track and Field the amount of button bashing and trigger pulling you need to do.

It has very tough competition with all the other twin stick shooters on Live.

Agreed. I played it twice and haven't been back since. It's one of those games where you think about playing, but then you find a flap of skin at the side of one of your fingernails and decide to nibble on that instead.

Nice to see another word game on XBLA (KrissX). Shame it's utter toss.

It was one of those "download demo, play demo, delete demo" ones. It wasn't horrible - I quite like wordy games, but 400 points is the absolute most I'd pay for KrissX.

Chime is wonderful.

It's Lumines but with a point. Worth it for the music alone.

Yeah, I bought it as soon as it went up. Can't wait to give it a go.

I was going to ask whether it was 800 or 1200 points but looked for myself and it's 400 with at least 60% going to charity. Just had the one go for it and it's great. :)

Oh man, it's soooo brilliant. I really don't want to go to work today!

The game doesn't explain itself very well. I found that going for the achvs was the best way to understand things.

I'm apparently one of the first three winners of this achv...

100% coverage is fiendishly tricky. I've gotten 99% a few times but always run out of time. Bah!

I'll be on this all evening I think and then I'm away for like six days. ARGH!

Depends on the level really. I've done 100% on the first four and 200% on the first level and that was just my second attempt at it.

I wanted to play it some more but I think my eyes would have caved in.. I really need to blink more when I play it!

Dev, that's one thing I couldn't figure out! How do you get more than 100% coverage?! Does it just restart after 100?

Any tips for getting the 100% generally? I'm getting really close but I reckon there might be an extra tactic I've not considered!

Yup, it just clears the board and you start again.

Hmm.. I'm probably stating the obvious but start from the outside and work your way in. Once you've cleared the majority of the board and you're just left to clear up the leftover bits then you can just get away with basic 3x3s just to cover the squares you need, rather than going for the big quads. I think it's just something that will come with practise.

I'll have to look at the achievements actually. I got one for finding six different types of quad on a level which was a fluke more than anything.

"The Snake" - Create a single quad that covers the entire width of the grid on every level.

Bloody hell.

Edit - Ultimate Champion will take a bit of doing too - "Get 100% coverage or more on every level in 3 minute mode."

Oh! That's the one I meant! I've gotten 100% coverage on Free Mode but I can only really get to 99% on Timed Mode (on the first level, 94% on the second).

Snake... yeah a bastard. I've done the first two levels but after that it gets hatefully tricky. But in a 'I love this game' funky skillo kind of way.

Ah, does that mean you're playing the 3-minute game on Timed mode to get the achievement? I'm taking it easy with the 9-minute games. :)

yeah I've only played 3 mins or Free Mode.

I've done 9 out of 12 achvs.

Notably the 7 quads one and the 25x multiplier one 'Juggle Master' (I did that in 3 min mode). That's a good achv for really getting into the game mechanics and is the one that I'm in the 'first three' on on TA.

The Beast (get an 80 cell quad) was briefly annoying as well.

Since nabbing those achvs, I've just stayed on the first level level trying to get the 100% in three mins. Like I said I've got 99% but that time limit is fairly harsh!

My sub card finally arrived (a week late) so now I'm a fully paid up Xboxer again. Hoorah!

*sigh* I'm getting a backlog of games, which I hate, but if Chime is only 400pts then, well...

I have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to be doing in Chime.

I've nailed all but one achv now. I've managed 100% on the first two levels (@ 3mins) but after that it gets kind of brutal.

The 50m achv is cumulative btw.

Having my first play of Chimes at 1am on a work night was a REALLY bad idea. Not looking forward to my alarm going off in 3 hours.
