Woke up at 2 from a disturbing dream where I was in some grand Victorian house getting ready to go to see Wagner's Ring Cycle. As a dream, this was actually more alarming to me on waking than the aliens-in-human-guise also in the dream who were throwing tennis balls to exterminate people.

I had a dream last night that had beexers in it. I think a good number, but Davpaz and I think Trooper are the two most vivid.

Do you remember the penguin racers? These:

Well, we were on one of those as the penguins. Davpaz was the penguin in front of me, so I remember him the most, but I think Trooper and Craster were in front of him. I couldn't see further forward, and we were rigid so I couldn't see who was bumping in to behind me, but had a thought it was Grim... as I could here him laughing as we zoomed around corners.

Anyway, it was really fun. I liked reaching the top of the stairs and speeding up down the descent! But there was always a little moment where people would get (playfully, I think) impatient whilst they queued at the bottom of the stairs where people's flippers didn't always catch the first time.

Incidentally, the penguin race toy was perhaps the only toy I really wanted but never got when I was a kid. I don't mean I was spoiled and had loads of toys, but I preferred creative artistic things, and I don't think my grandmother thought a penguin race would amuse me for very long, but they always had one in display in Harrods and I asked for one about five years in a row. They still fascinate me - I saw one in a shop window a few months ago. Brilliant neverending penguins!

I have just had a dream where Grim... And I were in a big car, like one of those people carrier things. It's not moving, we're just sitting there, chatting. It's twilight and I'm looking out of the window over the trees of a park.

Suddenly, I notice that there are two moons. One is slightly smaller than the other and I move my head to make sure it's not a reflection on the car window, then I tell Grim... He's distracted and doesn't seem to find it strange at first, but then another moon appears, and suddenly the sky is filled with moons. There is a loud noise in the sky, like a scratching, and we are scared so we set off driving. As we drive there are sirens.

We drive to a hotel and are in a hotel room. I'm sat on the bed, scared. The door is locked and we are trying to pick up a radio signal, but phone lines, tv and radio are all down. Grim... Seems more unhappy than scared, still distracted, and I think he wants to tell me something, and I want to help him and and am trying so hard to listen, but all I can think about is Russell, and if, please, is he safe.

I feel like we are completely safe in the hotel room but that the rest of the world may be gone when we emerge after what is happening outside.

I had a dream I had to escape from a mansion that was being attacked by an unknown force. I kept having to hide in cupboards and under tables to avoid being seen. For some reason former Kent and England batsman turned author and journalist Ed Smith was in the mansion with me, but he couldn't help much because he'd been blinded by a previous attack.

I kept waking up in the night, thinking it was an odd dream and going back to sleep and continuing on from where I left off. I haven't had one of those types of dreams in years.

I only just remembered it when I saw an Ed Smith column on cricinfo.

I had a really vivid sexual dream about my top boss, which was utterly disturbing (and I don't fancy him in the slightest), but made all the more horrible by the fact that when I got to work the next day I discovered he'd been rushed to hospital overnight with a possible heart attack! Creeped. Out.

I dreamed that Helen and my ex got together quite openly, while Hel stayed with me at the same time. When I snapped and said I couldn't do that, my ex said (very smugly and with a strong hint of malice) 'thats fine, you might like to know we're getting married next week. You should have been better.' and I had to leave then other stuff went wrong.

It's not like either of them but I was all :'( all day. Still am a bit even though it's a couple of days later and last night's stand-out dream was work-related but cool nonetheless.

I had a dream last night that I had comitted a murder. Except, I don't think I HAD comitted a murder, but everyone seemed to think that it was me whodunnint and they seemed to assume this so much that they had started to kind of convince me that I had - and I wondered if I was so traumatised by having done such a think that I had wiped it from my memory.

I was at school atthe time, but my teacher was my current manager, and i was sitting in class with my workmates (fellow pupils) and one of the girl that sits opposite me said that, actually, the police had mucked up the evidence so i had gotten away with it! I was really hurt as I hadn't in fact murdered this chap but she clearly believed that I had. Then a policeman saw the note that this colleague had passed me to say this and this seemed to confirm me as guilty.

So, then it turns out that I wasn't even AT SCHOOl the day that the murder took place, so I couldn't have done it, but then the teacher said that neither was the murdered chap, so this made me look MORE guilty.

Then I woke up and couldn't sleep for a bit. So I got up and went to the bathroom.

When I went back to bed I fell asleep again, BUT my dream carried on. Hell upon hell. now i was on the run for moider, and teh police were chasing me across sand dunes whilst I desperately scrambled, knowing i was going to be caught and blamed for somethign that i just didn't do.

Then for some reason I was trying to work out how large to make an artifical island (to be positioned to the SW of the UK), so that it would be 100% self sufficient for a population of 100,000 people and how much it would cost per person to live there...

I dreamt last night that I was watching England play football at Wembley. At half-time I went back to the house I was staying at (which seemed to be abandoned), and I saw :attitude: there, resplendent with flat top, new rocks and long black duster.

He convinced me to go urban exploring around the house I was staying at. He said there was some kind of conspiracy as to why it was abandoned, and we should find out what it is.

I don't remember any more.

Last night I dreamt I was staying in a guest house on holiday. I lost something so I had a look under a car for it, when I noticed that if I took a picture of the underside of the car, it looked like some kind of alien landscape.

Last night:

- George Peppard stole a horse and then shot me in the head in a desert.
- I was flying a plane to try and get through the struts of a ferris wheel/roller coaster, but kept crashing.
- I ran into a building to try and find a boiler, but after reaching the end of a corridor I was found, and had to escape back the way I'd come and fly away.
- My brother's ex had won custody of Giantmonk, and I had to return him. I tucked him into my shirt and refused and burst into tears.
- I was in an arcade and was Chunk from The Goonies. I found some coins in the return slot of a 2p machine, but it was bags and bags of 50ps and £1 coins. When I took them the arcade owner was now chasing me.
- I was locked in a dungeon and a child was chained up and being forced to eat a baby. His mother made him sick it back up.

I am a disturbed individual.

Last night I dreamt I was a tank commander about to lead the charge on some alien scum trying to invade the moon.

I had this really cool HUD, where I could essentially see the battlefield from any pov I desired. I just had to think of it, and I would have that angle, with tactical overlays telling me what resources were available, ammo levels, armour, speed, etc.

But the aliens were trying to hack it, and they had somehow infiltrated a female sock manufacturers on earth (specifically in Japan). They had managed to embed tiny micro cameras in the sock so they would look up the wearers legs.

Their hacking endeavours had made the HUD system pickup on any subconscious sexual thoughts and show you the sock cam that matched your subliminal fantasy the closest.

I was getting pictures of ballet dancers, cyclists, joggers, and even a lady using the toilet!

Needless to say the aliens plan was successful, and the moon was lost.

Oh, apropos of nothing, what's the smallest camera you can buy?

Too big still I think, it would need to be the size of a thread, almost like an optical fibre, but I guess that would need to connect to something bulky!

Russell told me that I should tell you that I had my boobs out, which I did. I didn't think it was important, BUT I do remember why I had them out. See, I was unsure of the group shower etiquette, but all of the rest of you had just swimming trunks on. I had both the bottom AND top halves of my swimsuit on, which didn't match the rest of you, so thought I should get my boobles out. It wasn't odd in my dream. I did tell Russell as soon as he woke up. I thought it was an awesome dream. Mostly because it was really sunny and warm, and I didn't feel ill and there were nice people there and Zardoz has a great baldy head, which now smells of cherries.
