Reminds me of a party I went to in about 1970. Our host had rented an under-the-counter 'adult' film, as he was the proud owner of an 8mm home cine projector. We didn't know of this until the early hours of the morning when we were all quite merry, when he told us of the entertainment to come and duly set up is projector and erected ( :hat: ) his screen.

We sat in eager anticipation as he threaded the film through the projector, only to find that he'd rented a Super-8mm film that wouldn't run through his standard 8mm projector. The fuckwit. All was not entirely lost, as he managed to feed the film through the projector one frame at a time, so we were able to see some tart getting her norks out v e r y s l o w l y i n d e e d by which time we were all pissed off and went back to fishing car keys out of a giant brandy glass.

Found this whilst unpacking all my console+computer boxes (they've pretty much been left since I first packed them about eight years ago, although I bought this mag in the early 90s IIRC).

Porn used to be expensive! £20! For one magazine!

And there isn't even any penetration in it either.

Depressingly, yes. It seems a common thing to want to emulate porn rather than have sex. Only with worse camera work. I was asked to once, during a er, social gathering, but politely refused, not least because if I wanted to have a wank I would have stayed at home.

On the plus side, at least porn music never caught on. Why people still put music in porn I will never understand.

I figured, and I see (all of) your points about this particular thread, and the fact that people shouldn't be looking at Beex at work.
But they do look at work, and often while there's no chance people can read text from across an office, they can certainly spot a porn cover.

I'm (probably) going to make a new thread about the NSFW rule to make sure everyone knows it, as it is our most important rule, IMO. Don't think I'm getting at you by doing so, though, because I'm not.
