So any way;

Is it just me or are the BBC becoming less impartial and more sensationalist every day?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/essex/8116638.stm

The headline reads " Tobin 'joked while digging grave' ".

No, he fucking didn't. The neighbour who was talking to him whilst he was digging cracked the joke. It says in the story. They seem to think that putting 'quotation marks' around something is a licence to say whatever the fuck they like.

Er, not that I'm sticking up for the evil bloke who buried a young lass in his garden or anything.

Making a new thread before page 100 has been reached in the old thread is the behaviour of a BOUNDER and a CAD.

ACTUALLY, it was on page 100 when I created it, but then for some reason it went back to 99 very briefly (like 30 seconds), then went to 100 again. So, TECHNICALLY, I'm in good standing.

If Greenpeace are going to put a spokesman on Newsnight, perhaps they should make sure that he doesn't have the voice of a 12 year old and brushes his hair before he goes on TV.

That is all.

As I said in te SKY thread, I'm none to happy with it, but as it's cheaper than the other deal we were on, it's something that has to be suffered. Anyway, the Pro Bull Riding 2009 championship is on the telly now, so I'm off to watch that.

From today's 'Times':

< http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/b ... 571617.ece >

Quote:
“They asked me if I knew about alcohol restriction zones and I said I didn’t,” said Mr Travis, a tennis coach. “They said, ‘We have to stop people who we think are drinking, not just drunk’. I pointed out that the cans were not even open, and they said that didn’t matter because they thought I was going to drink them in a public place. They asked me to pour it down the drain.”

Frankly, I'm unsurprised. Give people arbitary powers, and they will be used.
