I agree, from Lewie's point of view. It's her who was in a relationship with Lewie and therefore (implicitly) promised to be faithful to him. The bloke made no promises to Lewie. If anyone should be punching (or whatever) this bloke, it's his girlfriend/ex.

To forgive your partner but blame/punch the bloke she cheated with is pretty patronising to her, implying she had less of a choice in the situation than him.

(Not that I'm suggesting for a second that Lewie should be all friendly with the bloke in question.)

I'd definitely stick to your guns on this one, Lewie... regardless of the trust issue (Which I completely agree with, btw), the biggest point that sticks out for me is that you said she realised pretty early on that he was getting touchy feely with her and yet she allowed it to continue, which is a pretty obvious sign of encouragment in this situation.

I've had way too many gf's try that shit on me and act like it's nothing, and it's a big, big sign for me now that a lass is obviously not as interested in me as I'd like to think. It's a dangerous fucking game for women to play and it really pisses me off when people try to pretend it's nothing. Nobody who is in a happy relationship should have an excuse for letting people slobber all over them like that, because it's pretty obvious the guys who do it are fucking chancers anyway and the more you let them away with it the further they'll try and push it.

It's just having someone around who can appreciate that other women can be attractive, even when you're in a relationship, but I suspect this says more about trust than sexual orientation.
