I used to binge on cigarettes at weekends when I was out drinking and then smoke barely anything all week, but now I've had to cut back at weekends too because it doesn't do my sinisitus/ allergic rhinitis/ whatever it is any good at all. So now I occasionally cadge Embassy No.1's and Marlboro Lights off my mates and make do with the occasional Drum Light rollie.

I'd heard this, and I've been sniffing the Grimlet's head every now and again but it doesn't really smell of anything.

Have you tried washing him?I think water activates the baby smell. That or him wiping his own vomit in his hair.

I can't abide smoking at all (stay with me here) it's certainly not allowed in my house, but there is something about the smell of tobbaconists that is absolutly gorgeous, I think it must be the flavoured tobaccos. I love the smell of cigars too!

Fresh tobacco smells lovely but cigarette smoke (especially stale) is teh yukky, never noticed how bad it was until I stopped myself.

I suppose a lot of things smell nice until you set fire to them.

I passively smoke from my mother and brothers, mainly mother. Fucking annoys the crap out of me and we have many rows.
It's my business when people smoke around me as I don't want the smoke near me or my lungs.
The smoke you can't see is worse, the smell is foul..all smokers reek. I can't believe I used to smell like that. (I smoked around 20-30 golden virgina roll ups a day..before that it was B&H or Lambert).

My mother has COPD..and still smokes. She has no sympathy from me when she's coughing in agony or has ANOTHER chest infection and is taking meds for it.
Dad probably would have it too if he had not died. My grandmother had cancer from smoking.

Has anyone tried smoking tobacco through one of those fancy bubbly pipes, like they do in the middle east? That always looks quite good fun to me.

Oooh, yes. Went to a divey little Lebanese cafe on Edgware road, and smoked apple flavoured tobacco through a hookah, drank mint tea and played chess. All very nice. Although sadly not something you can do these days, of course.

The only real place where the opportunity was available was in certain Lebanese restaurants, and of course they're not allowed to anymore.

A Shisha? They're quite nice, but I often give up after a few rounds and go back to the fags. Some of the tobacco is quite sickly as well. Particularly the horrible Strawberry stuff my friend buys.

Most of the guys I work with over here have a hookah at home but they don't use them for tobacco. During the summer you can see people smoking them in bars and cafes in the evening and they look very cool.

I smoked an American Spirit the other day. It was mighty smooth.
