Is it not going to get a little unwieldy when this forum is HUGE, though? Seriously I think you should stick it up at the top, and more visible.

That's a little too much like advertising (or maybe begging) to me, which I dislike.
As always, I am open to the opinion of the masses, however.

a) It needs to be bigger.

b) Therefore it will raise more cash so not only will it pay for the server but perhaps it could be used to buy a round of drinks for everyone at a meet.

c) It's not as if you are trying to sponge a living off it is it? That's what I'd object to.

d) This is off topic.

BTW I'd seriously welcome a small signing on fee like wot Popbitch use. Not a tenner like they do, but perhaps a couple of quid? Sock puppets and morons think twice before signing up if it will cost them money.
