Or people who like to go straight to the thread instead of trawling through 15 pages of everything containing "CoD4"

OK, I think I understand.

Is it not going to get a little unwieldy when this forum is HUGE, though? You might have to write a new search function to search teh first post, or give instructions on the cmd  F thing to search the page. No, I am joking, I love you all. You are al right - it is both wonderful and a great waste of time, like all of the best things in life.

Maybe we could bully Grim... into coding a page that lists all threads with Riddledetink views or Rumpytetoo replies or something. He loves to sink more time into appeasing ourr wishes, after all.

It would only flag up a load of Bits and bobs stuff anyway.

We need this thread referenced in this thread.

Is it worth adding JC's photo-me-do thread? Might be fun if new people wander in and feel the urge to share their likeness with us. Then I could occasionally update the Sgt Pepper pic.

Then again, this may be stretching the definitions of "note" and "worth". What does the panel think?

That's a little too much like advertising (or maybe begging) to me, which I dislike.
As always, I am open to the opinion of the masses, however.

a) It needs to be bigger.

b) Therefore it will raise more cash so not only will it pay for the server but perhaps it could be used to buy a round of drinks for everyone at a meet.

c) It's not as if you are trying to sponge a living off it is it? That's what I'd object to.

d) This is off topic.

BTW I'd seriously welcome a small signing on fee like wot Popbitch use. Not a tenner like they do, but perhaps a couple of quid? Sock puppets and morons think twice before signing up if it will cost them money.

Do new accounts still need to be approved? Or is the 31 thing the only safeguard?

This is not the place for this discussion, I feel

It'd be good to have the camera gear thread in here too.

I did look earlier to see if there was already a general camera thread. I've seen quite a few camera/photo threads so just chucked my question into the most recently active one.

I'll start linking to previous ones in the FP if you want, might be a bit easier than banging them in here.

EDIT: Done.

Zaphod's list of Beex WeeXes (-i, -en, -ix?) ought to be on the first post, I think.
