Seeing as I searched on the net and came up empty handed I thought I'd post :)

PC version 30th of March, or was it the 20th?

Dunno, but it hasn't been canned. Woohoo ! :D

Played it a bit today. Think it's quite shite, to be honest.

Every 360 sold costs Bill Gates money*. That's how I justify it.

I don't care as long as Nintendo dies. They stole my stars!

Man, this is almost like an early Beex-era reunion.

I like it.

Amazon have the PC version (if you pre-order it) for just £17.96 :

(I realise that you'll probably want to evaluate it first JC but if its any good then seems like a good deal for the original)

Still trying to play this game occasionally. Still don't get it.

Start on "Very easy" and cake-walk the first 3 matches, get to either Zangief or Bison and roundly get my arse handed to me in almost perfect matches. It's not fun.

It's pretty difficult that's for the newcomer or those out of practice for sure. You need to use Blanka. That will solve your problems. Or put it on Easiest until you've improved. I'm now competent enough to complete the game on the hardest difficulty with blanka. I struggle with most others though. Should you ever get to Seth, the trick to survival is crouching block.

Play against friends for a bit until you get a bit better maybe.

Mind you I have always been fairly crap at these games. I don't have an arcade stick I'm using the analogue as the d-pad just feels impossibly awkward, is this a big handicap?

Its all well reading about and watching youtube videos of how to do stuff but unless you have someone who can show you how things work and timings for bits its really hard to pick up.

I'm around for a few hours in the evenings if you want to have some practice.

I'm using the d-pad on the normal 360 pad , there are some moves which i cant really pull off very well but most of it works fine (and i cant justify either the £120 for an arcade stick when i already have an x-arcade or the £60 for a pad which just has a better d-pad than the normal 360 one)

I've improved my game at least 20% from Irredeemably Shit to Very Shit through the rounds I have had against folk here. It does require some investment in time though getting the moves right just for offense let alone counters and combos etc.
