Fish crisps? >:| I don't like fish or seafood, so I don't think I'd liek them at all. I have never tasted a Star bar, either.

Put all that into a crepe, then the crepe into a sandwich, with more nutella and crisps. Layer to the size if your mouth.

15 minutes in a pot of cheese. Leave to cool for 5 minutes, blender to a fine texture, then inject straight into the brain.

Your feet smell of fish?! What is it with this forum and strangely smelling bodyparts? Whatever next, someone with an elbow that smells of cashew nuts?

I had a starbar today. It were foul, it were. I immediately "rinsed" my mouth out with a Boost bar then downed another Boost bar to put it back into "the positive".

It's quite strange that two things that are so similiar can be so different.

Ooh! And since I'm on a "do they still make this" kick, and since I'm coming back to Scotland on holiday next month, do they still make salt & vinegar dry roasted peanuts? I loved loved LOVED them, but could find them maybe once or twice a year if I was lucky.

Hmm, maybe I need to make a "snacks to buy on holiday" list or something.

Sainsburys used to sell 4 Boost bars in a multipack for 99p. I used to eat them all in one go, possibly followed up by a few more choccie bars and a ton of sugar.

There was a thread about choccy over on WoS and I mentioned about DD's having raisins, mainly because I distinctly remember a TV advert where the jingle went "Chocolate, nougat, crunchy flakes and raisins / it's a fascinating combination". I think it was Grim... who backed me up, and if you do a Google search you'll find enough info to suggest that Cadbury took them out in 1986.

I felt they added just that little extra something to the bar, and everytime I eat one now (which isn't very often as they rarely make their way over here) I feel something's missing.

Today was a very distressing day. I was buying my lunch and picked up a starbar, at which point I had 30 seconds of pure mental conflict, weighing the awesomeness of the starbar against my desire to not undo my good work at the gym last night.

Eventually a voice in my head started screaming 'PUT THE STARBAR BACK. PUT THE STARBAR BACK. PUT THE STARBAR BACK.'.

So I did. I've eaten all my lunch already. I'm hungry. I wish I had a star bar :(

Go to the gym twice, then reward yourself (with a starbar, jeez).

I am sure starbars used to be nicer, when I was kid, they were less *makes noise of some one with putty stuck to the roof of their mouth* and more powdery. And a bit sharper (taste, not shape). They are still teh awesomes (read "nice") though.

From Wiki

"Double Decker bars originally had raisins embedded within the base layer but they were removed in 1986 in response to market research."

Scampi are breadcrumbed Langoustine tails.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Langoustine

Langoustines vaguely resemble a large King Prawn, but are actually a closer relation of the Lobster, growing up to 250g.

They are usually pinky-red in colour although they can also be quite pale.

Found in the north-eastern Atlantic Ocean and North Sea as far north as Iceland and northern Norway, and south to Portugal.

They are solitary predators, feeding on other animals such as worms and fish.

The bulk of the catch is taken by trawlers, which catch the animals during periods of emergence from their burrows in the seabed.

They are great roasted in the oven and served whole with lemon and mayonnaise or split in half, coated in butter and herbs and grilled.

The tail meat is muscular and has a sweet taste and a prawn-like texture it is frequently eaten, often under the name "Scampi".

Curly Wurly's are the best sweets to have if you are trying to lose weight. The trick is to freeze them as it makes them harder to eat.

I used to stack em up so the people in the shop didn't know how many I was buying, and I got charged for 2 or 3, but I really had more like 5 or 6.

Oh they were nice! I could just eat and eat and eat those.
