Squid still scare the shit out of me. But we have an agreement: I don't go diving in dark undersea caverns, and they don't visit Oxford.

Ooo, there is a particular nasty little story on Pseudopod this week. A journalist does a story on an author that is obviously based on Lovecraft.

There was an amusing short story by Neil Gaiman, which was a hybrid of the old Peter Cook & Dudley Moore two-men-in-a-pub routines and, well, Lovecraft. I believe you can find it in his Smoke & Mirrors collection.

Everybody always assumes that Cthulu coming back equals bad things. I'm sure he'll be a friendly sort with sound policies for a happier Britain.

Interesting, I thought I'd heard all the audio versions of this but I've never heard the original version of this, really liking the additional music and sound effects. Cheers for this.

He he...while shuffling about my local games store spraying frebreeze over the more stinky denizens I picked up my very own 'Bag of Cthulhu'...smashing.

Image

There are actually 6 of the 50 mil pieces in the bag rather than the four in the piccie.

Imagine. A Cthulhu in every room...that's living the dream (possible nightmare) my friends.

Also: Post those pics you promised of the sculpts your friend made!

Also also: Thanks for the 'The Trail of Cthulhu - August Derleth' book Dimrill. Really enjoying it so far.
