Whuh? Pod? Haha! Aha, no, no. You are very funny man. Actually yes, Pod is my problem! Ah, everyone go kill Pod, ah! Ahahaha, you super funny man, yes.

Question: Pod, are you scared now that you know that I have gained access to WoS' mail, and seen all your PMs? Is that it?

How about comically misreading "cunt" as "cnut"? You could assert your mastery of the tides in an amusing manner.

And I thought it was a running gag, too. Like Grim... being an evil 18th century landowner, Clam liking eggs and voytee being out of the country for months so I can spread the rumour that he's outrageously camp and he'll never know where it started.

It crossed over from being a running gag, at best.

voyee? Is he the one who is erm... I dunno how to say it. He's got a bit of showbiz in him, that'll do. You know.

so how can you be interested in eastereuropean history but not know anything about it, wouldn't mind discussing some, but are we talking about....

- the absurdity of the double monarchy
- balkan wars
- the lithuanian-polian empire in the 1400s
- the plague
- the beauty and power of the large civic centres like Budapest and Cracow
- the ottoman occupation
- the reasons why hungarians speak finnish
- the role of Trams in Eastern European Transport

etc..

Well, when I was a teen I could only think about girly bits, but I knew nothing about girls either ;) It's an interest of mine that's got bigger lately.

This, yes. Actually reading about the double monarchy (only on Wikipedia, mind!), at the moment. But the rest sounds interesting. Anything about trams has to be good.

After some thought, I'd like to summarize and reword why I started this thread, as thus:

"I'm having a hard time lately in real life, for many reasons not even slightly related to any internet forums. That said, some people - they know who - have been delighting in being hateful, moronic and twattish, in what is either a completely misguided attempt to 'right' the leaving of many folks from WoS, or just a very bored/boring personal trolling. Much of this is via PM, probably because they know that someone else would delete it. It's abated now that the heat's died off a bit, but still, getting the occasional deeply unpleasant message (on here, WoS, and RLLMUK), is getting a bit much. I would appreciate it please if people would stop therefore with the hilarious 'CUS is a cunt!' running joke, thanks. Occasional use is okay and stuff, I just ask for a bit of rational thinking.

Also, based on some PMs I received yesterday and this morning, from lovely concerned people, let me just say also that "No, it's not 'because of that thing you said', and really, if simply posting at and moderating this forum was itself what was upsetting me, then I would simply leave, as the easiest solution.

The timing of this all just really sucks, anyway. I apologise for being a bit more '...GNGGGHH!!!' than usual in the last couple of days. Also, please note that I mentally insert 'But that's just my opinion, and you're entitled to yours of course, what is it?' after everything I say, so if you see a comment of mine and think 'Well, that's a rather definite thing to say, how dare he!', please remember that I *also* am entitled to my opinion. Also that my sense of humour is often very dry. I don't stoop and hide to call you a cunt, I'd paint it across your front door, as it were."

Or something. Everyone's allowed a big 'AAARGH FUCK *sob* hlp plz' fall-down.

Yeah, some people are pigs. When they do it when you need support not kicking it makes it even worse.

I know it's easier said than done to ignore them (I got told that over Xmas but just couldn't get the stuff said out of my head even though I didn't reply to any of it), but they aren't worth anything else. Your time or thoughts.

You know you are a good person and you did what you did for all the right reasons, there will always be somebody to come along and twist stuff. It proves that you're not a total cunt that you can't just shrug this stuff off and not care about it!

That's shit mate. Anyone who blames you for ruining WoS is a fucking idiot. The reason I left WoS was because Stu woke up one morning and decided to behave like a massive prick. I'm grateful that you gave us all somewhere to stay in touch but either way I was gone from there.

Funny, I didn't stop to think that you'd be getting grief via PMs and the like after all this. I always thought of the leaving and the website setting up as a calm, collective decision with you just as accomplised facilitator of this. Hurts a bit to think that people out there are emotionally retarded enough to send you hurtful and hateful messages.

Anyway, you may remember a cheery PM I sent you (the first one I sent you I think) on WoS and the sentiments in it still stand. You're a good chap and I pretty much find the stuff you post both funny and interesting.

Hope the griefing lets up soon and the shadowy, nebulous, unspecified bad stuff goes away to be replaced by hurrah-ness all round!

I enjoyed it when it was just flamingdog occasionally turning up to say "Shutup Sticklebrick." or something. The only enjoyment I've had was pretending on WoS that I had somehow left some kind of virus behind to destroy the forum, trading on my infamy as the worst person ever.

Myoptika has entirely the correct impression of me.

I still need a new gimmick. I don't think that "stoat" fully overs the full gamut of what it is to be CUS.

It's short for Steve of Northern Darkness, which doesn't fit on this forum. But you may have known that anyway.

But if I am already poking you in the other shoulder with one little pinkie - and as am I already using the other to delicately hold this cup of rather fine tea - where else am I going to find something small, stubby and hard to poke you in the other one with?

Steve: Ja. Happily, SteONorDar is a far, far better name. You can really wrap tongue around those 'r's. MORDOR.
