I just hated it-it was boring, crappy acting etc-but thats just my opinion so don't worry :)

Today: Going out with the father figure. Secret Santa at the pub (maybe just 1 drink)
Saturday: Taking my aging grandad out for a few in the afty and then drinking later and then home :)
Sunday: Going to see my nan and grandad at the garden of rest and clean the graves and put flowers down for Xmas :)
Monday: BIRTHDAY! I gotta do the place up with birthday stuff for Rae and either make or buy a cake ^.^
Tuesday: See the kids off and be sad :'( as I've got to act daft for a few days and I'll miss eet

Rae and Gayney said they may come up again in February :) (Poor Gaz....if they are allowed that is :p)

I don't say it much but I really do miss my family down south and I wish they'd come here to live :'(

Of course!

Well, it's a friend's stagg do, but it is secret, so he doesn't know about it, and although I doubt he posts here, I better not say his name just incase, but he can probably guess anyway as he is the only person getting married that I know LOL!!!!

Better?

Indeed. I've got the DVD but always wanted to see it in action first-hand. Just my luck that they're doing a 30th anniversary tour!

I'm sure you'll have a great time, my friend (who doesn't post here, but probably should because he's uber geeky) was very impressed with it (and he's not easily pleased). You should arrange a BEEX meet around it. ;)

My wife's surgery went well yesterday. She didn't react well to the anesthetic and was throwing up for hours and is quite some pain, still, but we got her home last night. And she's feeling good enough today for me to go to the work Christmas party tonight. She's sad about missing it, but I'm glad she's well enough so that I can go.

Glad to hear it's going well Snowen. Shame you couldn't wirelessly stream the party to her via a 2 way video link up with head-up display. That would be cool

I just popped into Woolies for a can of something. It was like a scene from Apocalypse Now. Rammed full of people, nearly empty shelves, and what stock they had was strewn about the shelves in a right old mess.

I think by this time next week our local branch will have to shut because it will simply have nothing left.

But the sale tactic is working. People are buying the 10% off games and DVD's even though they are still overpriced.

Yay! No congestion charge for Manchester!

Quote:
Lord Peter Smith, chairman of Association of Greater Manchester Authorities said the results were “very clear”. He added:

“This is not just a vote no for congestion charging, it’s a vote no to improvements on the trams railways and buses and there will now be no improvements."

Fuck you fella. What do you think I pay my council tax, road tax, train tram and bus fares for then you dumb fucker!

That won't be an end of it though, whenever a public referendum gets the wrong answer they just ask again in a different way a couple of years later, or find a way to go ahead without asking.

The No vote was 78.8%. All 10 boroughs voted against, the most support it got was in Manchester with a 28/72 split. It was about as decisive as you can get.

The Yes campaigners are still lying about the investment figures even now.
